no you have to have a special nose stud.

you can usually get those at sometimes walmart but i prefer going to the piercing parlor and buy some of those. regualr earings would fall out of your nose... the nose studs are shaped like an L so they wont/cant fall out of your nose.

make sure you keep your nose clean and dont touch it without clean hands!

That can be dangerous if you are not careful. Also, it is not good to remove all of the wax from the ear canal because you need the wax. Also, it is very not good to scratch the ear canal, which will happen even with careful use of a q tip, because then you will get an infection. Just keep the outer ear clean and let water drip out of the ear. If the wax buildup gets too large, see an otolaryngologist.

The more expensive old jewellery always has a hallmark. In most cases you will need an eye loop to see the marking, generally on the the setting or somewhere on or near the clasp that allows the jewellery to be hung from the ear.

Then your personal hygiene is less than ideal.

If the area around the piercings is inflamed and or extremely tender, then there may be an infection there. Take out the earrings and dab the area of the piercings with some toilet-paper. Check to see if there is any fluid or blood coming form the piercings.

If there is blood:

Wash your ears with the rings out with a good soap. The dry them with a soft towel and dab some Listerine or disinfectant mountwash on the front and back of each piercing. Leave the ear-rings out for a day and then put them back for a day.... repeat this procedure until the smell goes away.

If there is any pus coming from the piercings then you should probably consult a pharmacist of doctor.

ok well if it is a bar you unscrew it clock wise and pull the bar out of the back,, and if it is is a ring the ball pops out and you pull ring out :) it is pretty easy, but may bleeed good luck x

It depends on what kind of earring it is. If it is a captive bead ring (CBR), it has to be professionally removed, so then you would have to go to a tattoo parlor or piercing salon and have them remove it (they use pliers, so do not try to do it yourself), and then you can have either another style of CBR put in, a curved barbell, a circular barbell, or sometimes a clicker hoop thing. If you have any of those other types of jewelry to begin with, then you can take it out yourself and put another of thoes types in.

The best way to clean it is get a piece of clean cloth. If it is dirty use alchohol, if it just needs to be shined just rub the cloth on the piece and it will buff it up a little bit.

There is a special test to use to find that out. Put them in a glass of water and leave it there for 36 hours or more. If you take it out and scratch the "gold" part, it should NOT feel like sandpaper. If it does, it is not a real gold earring.
