Holsum is a brand that produces vegetable based fat products for cooking, baking, pastry making, cake preparation, etc. In other words using Holsum will not replace vegetable fats but perchance will enhance the taste of confectionery related products.

The Holsum brand is hugely popular in South Africa for generations. I would certainly recommend it for better taste in baking or making cakes.
