16 weeks 4 days and still haven't felt baby move?

I am 24 weeks 3 days pregnant and I have the same problem as you. I asked my midwife about it 2 weeks ago and she said that their is a good chance that I have an anterior placenta, meaning that the placenta is in front of the baby. She said that because of this when the baby moves that the placenta absorbs the hit. She suggested that I drink a full glass of orange juice let it set in, then jiggle my belly around and lay very still on the ground. She said then your partner should watch your stomach especially the sides and see if they see any movement. She said usually the movement will be felt on the sides because the baby can try to kick around the placenta. Hope this helps.

What does it mean when baby moves a lot at 33 weeks?

Its highly unlikely that you can feel fetal movements at ten weeks, the fetus is active, but does not weigh enough and is not strong enough to be felt. Chances are, what you are perceiving as fetal movements are more likely gas bubbles.

Can you see or feel your belly move at 3 weeks pregnant?

It will feel completely normal. At 3 weeks past conception (which doctors call 5 weeks pregnant) your baby will be 1mm long. There will be no changes in your body that you can see or feel. In a couple of weeks, a trained doctor will be able to feel a change in your uterus, but you will probably not be able to feel it.

it means you have a hernia in your body where its not suppose to be. you should go to the doctor to check it out. SOURCE- doctor for 37 years

make sure you do not under any circumstances have sex with your husband or drink alcohol.

How often should you feel your baby move at 25 weeks pregnant?

As long as you can feel the baby move every day you should be fine. Some days they are more active than others.

Once your baby begins its first movements, you should feel it move everyday. After the 5th month, if you have begun feeling movemements and the baby does not move for more that a 34 hour period, you cshould contact your doctor immediately. However some days, the movement might be minimal while other days you feel like the baby is dancing around inside of you. Just be aware of the movements and you should be fine.

What does it mean to have your baby move on both sides at 17 weeks?

At this stage of the pregnancy your baby is turning and moving a lot. It never stays in one position. The baby has plenty of room and rolls about tangling in and out of the cord.

You will feel your baby's movement all over your stomach. Nothing to worry about. Enjoy it.

Once your baby starts to grow more there will be less room to move and the movements will then feel stronger and more restricted but still plenty of movements.

How often should the baby kick at 31 weeks?

I am also 31 weeks. Congratulations! Our lamaze coach says that we should feel baby move at least 8 times in an hour. I don't really feel that unless I am lying down! So most of the day, when I am moving around I don't feel him much at all. Some days I feel him more than other days. I try not to panic when I don't feel him for a while. I lie down on my left side and try to relax and within a few minutes - I feel him bumping around. Good Luck!

Baby not moving a lot at 39 weeks is this normal?

That would depend on what you mean by "a lot." Considering the fact that the baby has almost no room to move at 39 weeks, decreased movement is normal. Complete lack of movement is not. If you are concerned, go to your doctor and have him/her listen for the heartbeat.

Will you be able to feel when the baby is actually dropping or will you just feel it after he's already dropped?

Sometimes you can feel the baby dropping, especially with your first. It gives a little wriggle and a squirm and you suddenly need to urinate. With a second and subsequent baby it often does not drop until you go into labor.

What can happen if a fetus has enlarged ventricles in the brain?

Enlarged ventricles in the brain have actually been found in relation to schizophrenia. Many who suffer from this disorder have enlarged ventricles and it seems they grow over time. I do not know how this would work with a fetus, but I would definitely bring it up to the doctor, even if the baby has all ready been born and growing up. It could hold problems in the future.

You are 5 weeks prgnant and you can feel your baby moving is that normal?

You absolutely cannot feel the baby move at 5 weeks. It is the size of a grain of rice. However, it is forming all the vital organs so take folic acid and vitamins and eat right - your hormones are beginning to go through some major changes due to your pregnancy and hormones can cause all kinds of feelings, both physical and emotional. Bloating, grumpiness, weepiness, fatigue, etc. However, you will not be able to feel the baby move until you are into your second trimester, or at about 20-25 weeks. The movement felt at 20 weeks is very subtle - like a butterfly in your belly -some women cannot feel movement until the third trimester when most can actually SEE movement - an elbow or foot pushes out and you can see and feel it from the outside - generally, the leaner you are, the sooner you will feel movement because excess weight can sometimes cushion things a bit. Further, if the placenta is in front, that may impede your ability to feel movement as well.
