How can you get your unborn child to move at 21 weeks?
Some babies are more active than others. If your baby is moving within the "standard", then I wouldn't worry or try to make her move any more. Sometimes you won't feel her moving when you are busy doing things even if she is, so if you want to feel her move for your peace of mind, then eat a light snack such as a piece of fruit or milk, then lay on your left side and rest until you feel her moving. If you do this within several hours and still don't feel her move, contact your doctor. He/She may want to perform a non-stress test to put your mind at ease. Take care. You can gently press on your tummy in different spots to make the baby move. It isn't something that needs to be done, but it won't hurt the baby. If it hurts you, then it's too hard. And sometimes just relaxing with your feet up will make the baby move around. if you put headphones on your belly with some classical music, (which helps with brain development) or any other kind of music, it helps...
Is it possible to feel fluttering at 2-4 weeks pregnant?
I am 28 weeks pregnant and my ob tech as well as the sonographer, both say this is impossiable because at four weeks your baby has not developed enough weight to be felt. Most women are just becoming aware of there pregnancy at this point.

What if I don't feel sick or feel the baby at 5-6 weeks?
Many women experience "morning sickness" during the first trimester of their pregnancy and other women don't. However, women sometimes don't experience morning sickness until they are 6 weeks pregnant. If you do experience morning sickness you should have some relief by 14 weeks. Some women have a greater chance of having morning sickness - migraine sufferers, history of motion sickness, pregnant with multiples and if your family members experienced morning sickness. Consider yourself lucky if you are feeling well and don't worry about it!
You won't be able to feel the baby move until 16 - 22 weeks even though the baby starts to move around week 7. You will be able to see the baby move when you get an ultrasound. The baby's movement feels like butterflies in your stomach and will get stronger as your pregnancy progresses.
Can fetal movements be felt a seveen weeks next to the navel?
No, you cannot feel any movement at seven weeks. Your uterus hasn't even reached above your pelvic bone. Depending on your build, you can feel movement at 16 weeks. If you have been pregnant before, you can feel it as early as 12 weeks. What you are experiencing is probably gas or your BM moving in your intestines, or just bloated.

Hi,
No you definitely can not hun.
Remember this ok and it will help you to understand how it works. When the egg is fertilised you do not have a normal period. If the egg is NOT fertilised then the egg breaks down and causes a period. So if you get a period there is no chance of being pregnant.
A period is not just a unfertilised egg breaking down. It is also your Uterus lining shedding itself and causing a bleed. If you are pregnant your Uterus lining will not shed itself and break away from the Uterine wall.
You can not be having Fetal movements hun because you are not pregnant. It is probably trapped wind or something silly like that. So dont worry.
ANSWER!!!!!!
That isn't quite true. some women bleed throughout a pregnancy as if on their period. its usually lighter and more like spotting. But it is possible.. it is also possible to get a false negative on a pregnancy test. rare? yes. but possible. Pregnancy test detect hCG... you could just not have enough that will show up on the test. So honestly.... go to your doctor, they will more than likely give you an ultrasound to make sure everything is alright.
Are you able to feel the baby kicking your cervix?
Yes, it is possible to feel the baby kicking or hitting your cervix. This is more likely as the pregnancy progresses, since the baby is bigger and stronger later in the pregnancy. You will almost certainly feel the baby making contact with the cervix once the baby has started to engage (starts to enter the pelvis in preparation for birth); when a baby is fully engaged, his or her head will press directly on the cervix.
Some mothers will find the baby making contact with the cervix more uncomfortable than others, and for a few it may be somewhat painful. For most women, the sensation is simply unusual.

When does the baby start kicking?
You may start to feel the baby kick around the 16 week, or it may be later so don't worry if you don't. at first all you will feel is a fluttering in the bottom of your stomach that will soon be more harsh. you may feel the baby move more when lying down and relaxing. Around four or four and a half months. It will feel like a little tapping as though someone is flicking you with their thumb.
Then over a couple of weeks it will turn into kicking. Every pregnancy is different, however most will feel 'quickening' somewhere between 18-24 weeks. An old belief about pregnancy: When the mother can feel the child kicking inside is when the child became a 'person'.
The first sensations of the baby moving can feel like bubbles moving around inside. I'll never forget the first time I felt my oldest child move. By the end of the pregnancy the baby will slow down in movement...not a lot space left to move freely. Whats really funny is when the baby turns...you can actually watch your stomach change shape! I had fetal movement early, I'm 18 weeks pregnant I don't really notice it until I'm still or quiet.
Most first-time Mums feel movement at around 20 weeks, maybe a bit earlier if they are very slim.
Second time around you may feel movements about 16 weeks, because you know the feeling.
Feeling fetal movement can be felt very early, but this mainly occurs in woman that are in their 2nd pregnancy or more. This happens because a woman who is not in her 1st pregnancy will know what it's ment to feel like so will notice it more. I personaly felt my 1st movement at around 10-11 wks, but that were my 3rd pregnancy, so I knew what I were experiencing. Dont compare one pregnancy to another as each one is different, an as you have more children you will know what to expect. No two pregnancies are ever the same though
Between 16 to 22 weeks but can be as early as 12 weeks or as late as 26 weeks my dr told me with my first child.
In first pregnancy, maybe around 17-18 weeks or later, in later pregnancies around 15 weeks or later.
You start feeling the baby move before you feel him or her kick. At around 16-20 weeks, people generally feel their baby move, although it depends on things such as how fat or thin someone is and whether or not it is their first pregnancy.People have described the first movement they felt as popping or fluttering. Some say it is a bit like gas.
It's normally around 16-20 weeks for most people. It depends how thin you are and whether it's your first pregnancy as well.
You might notice a flutter of movement at four months but it really starts moving a lot at five months.
I was 5 weeks pregnant and felt movement had just had a period the week before, and felt like hmm maybe, soo I went in and sure enough I was a little over a month pregnant. I am now feeling the same feeling and could not be more than a month, and this will be my third pregnancy, and I feel as if this little ball in me has something turning cartwheels in it, it is awesome.
When do you usually feel the baby start to move?
It's difficult to explain, because you are feeling the movement from the inside of your body. Normally you are not aware of movement of your internal organs. Occasionally you may have felt food passing through your intestines, but that is minor compared to this. But I actually think it feels most similar to running your tongue around the inside of your cheeks. It's a pushing, stretching feeling that you can sense from the inside and outside at once. There is a slippery feeling to it, along with pokes and jabs. For me, at least, it definitely feels like a live creature inside, trying to get out! Hard to believe!
Other than that I don't think someone can really say what it feels like to have a fetus move around inside of you. It's unique to everyone.
What month does the unborn baby start kicking in your stomach?
How early in pregnancy can you feel fetal movements?
If you are expecting your first baby you can expect to feel your baby for the first time between 18 and 24 weeks gestation. If this is not your first baby you can expect to feel your baby a bit sooner than you felt your first. This is usually said to happen because you know what you're feeling for and your uterus is more stretched out than it was the first time around There may be reasons that you are not feeling movement as early as you are expecting to feel it. Many of these are normal occurrences, including your body weight, your baby's position and the location of the placenta. The second big milestone is when others can also feel the baby move. Your partner might be surprised by a quick thump here or there, after many weeks of patiently (or impatiently) waiting. A sibling might get a quick bump on the cheek or hand and be very excited about the reality of the new baby.
How meany weeks are you to feel your baby kick?
Some women may feel the baby kick frequently, and other women may not feel the baby kick at all at 20 weeks pregnant. Either is completely within the bounds of a normal pregnancy and nothing to worry about. Most practitioners (OBs, midwives) consider 24 weeks the standard deadline for when a woman should first feel fetal movement. So, while some women may feel movement far earlier (some report as early as 8 weeks), it isn't cause for concern if you haven't felt anything in week 20.
Fetal kick counts - counting the number of times the baby moves within a set period of time - generally aren't recommended/requested earlier than 24-26 weeks, since the baby is still small enough that you won't necessarily feel the majority of the baby's movements. Different practitioners have different guidelines for doing the kick counts. Some ask that you do them on a regular (often daily) basis, while others may say you only need to do them if you notice a decrease in fetal movement. Anywhere between 6 movements an hour to 10 movements in 2 hours is considered sufficient, normal movement. Keep in mind that all babies are unique - some may do 10 distinct movements in 2 minutes, while others may be less active and take the full 2 hours. You will get to know your baby's movement pattern and activity level over time.
As a note, despite the fact that they are called "kick counts", any movement the baby makes should be included. So, whether he or she kicks, punches, rolls over, or hiccoughs, it counts as a movement in the fetal kick count. Often it will be difficult or impossible to tell what type of movement the baby has just made, particularly earlier on in the pregnancy.
If you are pregnant when can you feel a knot in your stomach?
You will be able to touch your abdomen and begin to notice the increased size of your uterus usually around the same time that you begin to "show", near week 10 of most pregnancies. You may start to feel the movement of the baby around the fifth month (20 weeks). Women who are overweight usually don't feel it as soon as smaller women, but most will feel the movement, pokes, and kicks by week 21.
Can you feel the baby kick at week 16?
Feels pretty much like a pop. Sometimes you can actually see your stomach popping up and down depending on how often the fetus kicks or move.
What determines the gender of a baby?
if the baby is in the right position a sonographer can usually tell what the sex is at your 22 week sonogram. they say if you carry the baby high it is a girl and if you carry a baby low it is a boy. that was how it was for me , but i wouldn't rely on it. with my son i carried really low and all out front and with my daughter i carried high and wide( she is the reason i now have love handles) also alot of women "just know". trust your instincts!!!!
