Is it legal to sport wrist tape in shot put?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Most officials prefer that people do not wear tape unless it is worn for a medical reason.

Actually that is false. it is completely legal to wear wristtape. u cannot wear any accessories on ur wrist or fingers though. it must be wrist tape, that is the only legal thing allowed on your wrist unless there is a medical condition on other parts of ur hand such as finger brace for broken finger, or hand u dont throw with has a cast due to broken bone. So wearing wrist tape is legal. all professionals and most college throwers and most highschoolers wear it to provide support for wrists.

What is a good track event for a athletic seventh grade girl?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It depends. Can she run laps around a track with ease or does she excel at running short distance sprints. If she is a distance runner then she has a slow twitch muscle. A 400-1600m race would probably be good for her. If she is a sprinter that means she has a fast twitch muscle. Anything less than 400m would probably be good fo her.
