100 but both end zones are 10 so from very end to very end it is 120

Does loss of down apply on a fourth down illegal forward pass in the NFL?

Yes, any penalty that includes a loss of down would apply on 4th down. The result is a turnover on downs.

What is the rule when a kickoff goes into end zone bounces back into the field of play but is untouched by the receiving team?

I'm not completely sure but I believe once the kicker has kicked the ball if the ball lands in the end zone it doesn't matter where it bounces after that, once its in the end zone it's automatically a touchback and play begins on the 20 yard line.

If a team intercepts a 2 point attempt after a touchdown and runs to the opponents goal Is it a touchdown or a safety?

If the player is tackled in the endzone it's a touchback and the ball will be spotted at the 20. But if he runs it all the way back it's a touchdown.

Answer

In the NFL, that's not possible. The play would be whistled dead once the offense had lost control of possession. In college and Canadian football, however, the defense would be awarded a 2-point defensive conversion for successfully running the ball back to the opposite end zone.

If a fumble occurs and the player is out of bounds can he come back and pick up the ball and continue play?

A defensive player may go out of bounds and then come back in bounds and make a tackle or recover a fumble. An offensive player may not go out of bounds voluntarily and then catch a pass. The only other rule about going out of bounds in the college rulebook is that a member of the kicking team may not go out of bounds voluntarily and then come back onto the field to make a play.

When was the last drop kick used and is it still legal to use it?

Ray McLean of the Chicago Bears was the last player to successfully drop kick in the NFL. He converted an extra point following Ken Kavanaugh's 42-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown during the Bears' 37-9 win over the New York Giants in the 1941 NFL Championship Game. The drop kick came in the fourth quarter of the title game played on December 21, 1941. Hall of Famer Earl "Dutch" Clark is believed to be the last player to successfully dropkick a field goal in the NFL. According to game accounts, he dropkicked a 17-yard field goal in the Detroit Lions 16-7 victory over the Chicago Cardinals on September 19, 1937.

On January 1, 2006, Doug Flutie of the New England Patriots converted a point after touchdown by dropkick in a game against the Miami Dolphins. Flutie's dropkick for points was the first since McLean's for the Bears described in the above answer.

And just to clarify, yes, the dropkick is still perfectly legal.

When a team scores a touchdown on last play of a half and they holding penalty do they run a play?

It depends if the defending team either accepts or declines the penalty. If they accept it, then they move the ball back 15 yards from where the holding penalty was called, and run another play. If they decline, then they decided to ignore the holding. (they might do this if the offense didn't score. If they were to accept, that would give the offense another chance to score)

Does ball have to touch the ground in onsides kick?

In an on-sides kick the football does not have to touch the ground. The football must travel at least 10 yards before the kicking team can legally touch the football.

If a player on the practice squad gets injured can the team cut him or does he go on injury reserve?

They would usually come to an injury settlement, so they can open up the practice squad spot for someone else. Unless the player will be back quickly. Definitely not going to put them on the injured reserved.

Is a blocked punt count towards your average?

No. Statistically, the attempt and the negative yardage from a blocked punt should be assessed to the "Team," not the punter.

Who gets the fumble on a backwards pass?

Whoever gets to the ball first. :-)

A backward pass (i.e., a lateral) that is not caught is a live ball, and any player from either team may recover it. If it goes out of bounds, the ball is spotted at that point.

In ncaa football may player do a fair catch and the touch the ball after letting it hit the ground?

Yes. When a player signals for a "fair catch," this only means they must be given the opportunity to catch the ball without the threat of being hit, with the stipulation that they cannot advance it. Once the ball hits the ground, the opportunity has been given and the fair catch is off. The player may then touch the ball, advance it, etc.

What is a length of the field including the endzone?

354 feet, from the back of one end zone to the back of the other.

Each end zone is 9 yards deep.

Does a punter become a running back if a forward run is attempted?

No he's still the punter he ran the ball because of a fake punt call or maybe because of bad snap & he's afraid punt will get blocked so he runs with ball. Regardless he's still the punter.
