What kind of animal eats a fox?
The Fennec, which is a fox that lives in arid habitats, preys on rodents, insects, lizards, birds, eggs, and they also eat fruit.
The Red fox preys on carrion, rodents, rabbits, birds, invertebrates, and they eat fruits like the Fennec.
the Bat-eared fox's diet consists mainly of insects (80%) like termites, dung beetles, and sometimes they eat birds.
And arctic foxes mostly just eat lemmings and carcasses that polar bears have left behind.
Just remember that red foxes are very opportunistic feeders and will eat practically anything if it means surviving.
well it is mostly small animals and rodents such as rabbits, mice, and praire dogs
Rabbits , rodents , insects ,
Foxes can eat lots of little animals. Their main targets are rabbits and squirrels.
Normally small rodents, mice, rabbits, ground nesting birds, etc., and chickens.
Yes because they are bigger and better.
There is no real 'better' to speak of without listing something they are better in. A wolf may be better at howling, but a fox may be better at digging. Generally speaking, neither is better than the other.
What is a fun fact about the fox?
The arctic fox is also known as white fox, polar fox, or snow fox. It is a smaller fox species who lives in the Arctic regions. They have thick fur which changes color to be camouflage depending on the seasons. It is brown in summer and white in winter.
Most likely, they'll first smell the prey. Then they will sneak up behind it and pounce and catch the prey.
Are wolves part of the dog family or cat family?
Yes, the wolves and dogs are in the same family. They are in the Canine Family.
Their eyes are not yellow but at night when hit by light their retinas have a bright yellow eye shine. See image above.
Members of the Canidae family are called canid and include dogs, wolves, foxes, coyotes, dingoes, jackals, and lycaons. The Canidae family is divided into the "true dogs" (or canines) of the tribe Canini and the "foxes" of the tribe Vulpini. The two species of the basal Caninae are more primitive and don't fit into either tribe. Any member of this family can be referred to generally as a canid.
How long is the Arctic fox's tail?
The gray fox ranges from 76 to 112.5 cm (29.9 to 44.3 in) in total length. The tail measures 27.5 to 44.3 cm (10.8 to 17.4 in) of that length. The gray fox typically weighs 3.6 to 7 kg (7.9 to 15.4 lb), though exceptionally can weigh as much as 9 kg (20 lb).
Why are foxes active at night?
foxes have a specific instinct to hunt at night
they are not full nocternal and most foxes are up during the day
when they hunt at night it is so they can kill the chickens or ducks without causing a huge disturbance

The most common fox is the red fox! I can't tell you off the top of my head how many there are, but there are somewhere between 20-25 individual species of foxes, as well as numerous subspecies. There are several debates as to whether some foxes are their own species or subspecies, so it all depends on who you ask. In North America alone, there are the red fox (which includes several subspecies in this and other countries as well as different color phases including marble, silver, etc), the gray fox, island fox (including 6 subspecies island fox living only off the California coast and highly endangered), arctic fox, swift, and kit fox (some say swift and kit are the same species). There are also many other species. To name a few we have: fennec, crab-eating fox, South American gray fox (completely different than our gray fox and thought to be extinct), bat-eared, culpeo, cape, small-eared dog, ruppell's, tibetan, indian, pale, darwin, the chilla, sechura, azaras, corsac, and I may be missing some. Also some people say that the maned wolf and raccoon dog are also considered foxes. There are "true foxes" of genus Vulpes, Urocyon, Otocyon, and Alopex.
there is 4 main foxes the rest are fakes.
your welcome :)
Well you've got the right person! I am a fox fanatic! I luv em'. Anyways, there are five major types of foxes. Red fox, Gray fox, Arctic fox, Fennec fox, and Swift fox. Hope this was helpful!
When do baby foxes learn to walk?
Kits begin to walk and leave their dens and experiment with solid food brought by their parents at the age of 3–4 weeks.
No. Foxes do not fish. The diet of an adult fox includes small rodents, fruit, birds, eggs, insects and worms. Very young pups do not eat food. They nurse from the mother and feed on milk. When they are old enough, the mother will regurgitate predigested meat and feed it to the pups, so they can start to eat solid food even when they don't know how to catch their own prey. Once they are weaned from milk, they will leave the den and learn to live on their own, eating the diet of an adult.

Yes, there are coyotes in Northern Wisconsin. Coyotes are adaptable animals, but they do prefer woodland areas. Northern Wisconsin is quite wooded. Deer populations are high.
