Franklin Mint

the only value of Franklin Mint items is the silver value. There is no collectors value for Franklin Mint items. Years ago I had a Franklin Mint gold clad coin group. I was told that the Franklin Mint buy them back any time. They neglect to tell you the items must be in mint shape, untouched and they must have a buyer for your items. Otherwise, the mint does NOT buy items back.

I remember seeing one sometime in the 1980's I believe. Worth about $250 I believe (I think it had an amethyst heart on the front of it). I purchased one for a family member some time ago and am interested in one for myself if the price is right. (917) 647-7545.

Anything from the Franklin mint is overpriced and not worth nearly as much as their sales prices. The only coins from Franklin worth anything are those made with silver.

Likely not much, the 1941-1958 Lincolns are all very common. For a idea of value, get a copy of Red Book it list value per grade of all Lincoln Wheat Ears reverse coins.

I have a 1982 proof set that has a 500 lei gold coin and 100 lei silver coin.

It is a very rare set. The last sale of this set was reported in 2005. It was sold for $2000.00 dollars.

There are no 1982 proof sets with 200 lei gold coins.however ther are a few sets that have 500 lei proof gold coin and 100 lei silver coin.

I think it is a missnomer to sai that the set has 200 lei gold proof coin.

I suggest you go to Google and type ROMANIAN PROOF GOLD COINS. THERE IS A SITE THAT EXPLAINS THE ORIGIN OF THE 1982 AND 1983 PROOF COINS ,that were minted by Francklin mint for Romanian government.

I have this set also and want to see what its worth. I have seen them advertised for as much as $635 and a low as $136. I have been offered $57. Considering what I paid, I still have them..

The original set had to be offered by Sept 30th of 1975 as the final post mark to ordered, only special made for the ordered collection. The cost of each spoons was 14.00 per spoon and a pine finished custom made display rack sent with for display, also had Certificate of Authentisisty and two booklets, one explaining in great detail how the state became one of the colonies,,,,actually more than what a person would learn in school....US Mint of all fifty state spoons issued by US Mint, which I have several doubles, not to mention amisprint with certificate of the 100 made and sent befote caught making it worth 759 +per Mint and the corrected spoon mailed to me.Also the Wuint triplets from Canada, set was used for advertising for yrats before return to their family by the goverment. Each medal is 39mm diameter and contains approx. 500 Grains or 32.4 Grams of sterling silver; each is approx. 3.5mm thick. Hope that helps.

Many of the pill boxes are valued in price close to $70 each. The amount will vary depending upon their condition.

Franklin Mint products have little to no collector value, so it's only worth its weight in whatever metal was used to make it.

Originally they were sold for $19.50 (approx.) each and I've seen 10 of them on eBay for the same price plus a small shipping fee. But I've not seen the 12 with the wooden base and glass dome for sale. I would think that with the stand and glass dome you could easily sell them for $300

It depends. I worked for the Franklin Mint when this plate was released. Early issues show the Coca Cola logo on the store. But Coca Cola never gave permission for that. As a result, the vast majority simply show a solid red sign. Many sellers seem unaware of this fact. Plates with the Coca Cola logo are actually much rarer.

You can purchase a mint set of all 29 1980 stamps for around $26.10.

depending on wear and condition anywhere between a few hundred to $5-$600 depending on where you sell, ive collected the series and find them sometimes as low as $30-$40 a goblet and $100 for bowl

I have removed 8 coins from their protective plastic and cardboard covers. All 8 weigh between 25 and 26 grams.. The total comes out to 204g. I'd say use 25.5 as the average weight.
