Franklin Mint

Anything faberge piece marked "Franklin Mint" is only worth about 1/2 of what you paid for it........

My Mom had bought the sculpture the year it came out for $200 Canadian. It is a part of a series of horses from the Black Beauty novel by Anna Sewell. Whether by itself or as a part of the series it was expected to increase in value over the years. At the very least it is worth the $200. We still have our sculpture and love it. If you have it enjoy it - it's lovely.

One way to be search the completed listings for "Franklin Mint" dolls, this is on the advanced search of Ebay. Having said that I've just ran a search of Google which has provided some results.

1000 grams sterling is currently worth about $415 ... 1000 grains sterling is worth about $27

You could get 1000 online, but for the right buyer $40,000 is more appropriate.

I do not believe this is correct . . .

First I know the bars are actually 5.2 ounces, but more importantly, 2500 grain means that these are not FINE silver. So these 5.2 oz bars are prob only about 85%-90% silver.

THEN refineries would charge 15% - 20% to make fine silver bars.

There were two collections. One from the Sunoco Stations that were collected individually, every time someone purchased gasoline. Then there was the bronze set, which a person won, based on a winning coin from the station. Bronze is worth around $30+ because of its rarity. The other isn't worth anything, unless a person is a collector. I saw it on-line for sale at $30-good luck!

E bay is selling set of 6 for $150 I have the first 13 but gave up after that...I guess 12 is worth $300...no where near what I paid for them!!

Not much I'm afraid. You can purchase them from a dealer or on eBay for about $2 per cover or even less. They have almost no real gold, such a thin layer that it would take thousands of them to get a measurable amount.

Actually, it could be worth more than that. Check the reverse and it may say something like: "22k gold electroplated on sterling silver" or "24k gold electroplated on sterling silver".

Each of these can stamps weigh anywhere from 5 grams to 20 grams of 92.5% by mass of silver. So, do you calculation and could easily add up, a 20 grams stamp is about $21 at current silver prices ($35.45/oz)

The original cost was 10 times $50 or $500. Its current value is whatever you can get someone to pay for it. Put it on ebay or an online auction but don't be surprised if there are no bidders or the best bid is $125.

If its the same thing that i have, with King Arthur on the front and excalibur on the back and it is rather thick then I was told that they are chess pieces, I do not know how much they are worth tho sorry. I had to take them to a pawn shop to find out what they were and that was what they told me at least. Hope it helped some :/
