"Furry" is not a medical condition; it's a subculture centered around anthropomorphic animal characters. It's a fandom and identity rather than an illness that requires a cure. It's important to respect people's interests and identities even if they may differ from your own.
No, a dragon is not considered a furry anthromorph. Dragons are typically depicted as mythical, reptilian creatures with scales, wings, and the ability to breathe fire. Furries are anthropomorphic characters that possess human and animal traits.
Yes, 12 year olds can identify as furries. Being a furry is a fandom that revolves around anthropomorphic animal characters, and individuals of different ages can participate and engage in this interest. It is important for young individuals to have parental guidance and support as they explore their interests, including their involvement in the furry fandom.
Xenomorph, a term used by the characters in James Cameron's 1986 movie "Aliens", was created to describe the alien creature in the film. Since the creature, or alien, had no specific name, it seemed to be the best way to "name" the alien from the film.
On Furry paws the way to make money is to save up your salary and putting your dogs into as many competitions as possible. Its good to feed your dogs premium food because that sometimes gives them points and better's their show scores (earning you more money). Also the more often you log on the faster you level in the job area as well. In 17 days you go from 9,000 dollars a week to 12,000, so be sure to log in and care for your animals regularly. Also its a good idea to go to the shop via the market and not the normal stores, because its cheaper.
All in all the way to get rich is to play the game, so have fun out there!

okay who ever said yes to being a furry is bad I'm disappointed.
First of all you can be whoever you want to be. Like look at me I'm a furry, and I love it. My friends are gamer's and they doint hate me. So being a furry you can express yourself to the world and be who you want to be. And another thing furry's are all around us. Like PBS Kids, Qubo, Movie's EVERYWERE so being a furry is good too. Like I said be who you want to be. Because at the end of the day some people might except it and others doint...BUT I HAVE TO SAY YES because if it makes you happy, it makes you happy :)
Happy to help!
The furry fandom is a subculture interested in fictional anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics. Examples of anthropomorphic attributes include exhibiting human intelligence and facial expressions, the ability to speak, walk on two legs, and wear clothes. Furry fandom is also used to refer to the community of people who gather on the Internet and at conventions.
According to fandom historian Fred Patten, the concept of furry originated at a science fiction convention in 1980, when a character drawing from Steve Gallacci's Albedo Anthropomorphics started a discussion of anthropomorphic characters in science fiction novels. This led to the formation of a discussion group that met at science fiction and comics conventions.
Furries are normally pretty harmless, so don't throw rocks at them.
Furry what?
If your looking for general furry art, you could try fur affinity. Sure some of it is sort of yiffy, but you work your way around it pretty easily.
If your looking for a community, Furtopia is a good, clean community. I've yet to find better.
If your looking for another fur you could try The Internet Furry Proximity Locater. It worked for me.
If your looking for a mate, Pounced! seems to be good, though I've never used it myself being under 18.
I your looking for yiff... well, I don't usually recommend yiff to anyone, but... I do know of one site that you could use... Lu.Scio.Us has a good selection of hentai, including yiff. *hangs head in shame*
So I hope this helped in any way.
Yes, I am.
People are furries for many reasons. There's a common saying that if you ask ten furs what furry means you'll get twelve different answers.
I'm a furry because I love to use anthropomorphism as a creative metaphor in my art and my music, and furry social events and forum discussions are simply amazing things to be a part of.
Yes. There are many places online one can buy a fursuit. Such as Furbid or Furbuy. ^^
Tiny edit: there are also many makers who construct fursuits as a job. If you're looking for someone to make your specific character for you, this is a great place to look! (Many of them have their own websites). Be prepared with a reference and plans to budget for a while, though.
personally i find that IRC rooms are the most effective way to find furries, we tend to hang out in places like that pretty often. I've also seen quite a few in secondlife, and theres a large group on steam called "furry pride". hope this helps =)
yiff in heaven furfriends!

Yeah, there are a bunch. High Tail Hall is a fun one but there was a fire at the studio so progress is a bit down. Bad Dog animations has come out with a new one called The Penthouse that is also like a puzzle. Be sure to get the current ones because the prototypes were a bit lame.
hahaha well, me and my mom say animal fur because it sounds like u need animal fur. if you know what you need to make a fur suit please change this answer. thank you and good night
(Please please please do not use animal fur to make a fursuit. It will be incredibly expensive, extremely hot, impossible to clean, and wasteful.)
Edit: Typically, there are many ways to construct a fursuit. You will need to consider what style you want.
Tooney masks are usually carved out of upholstery foam on top of a lycra balaclava, or on their own. There are many wonderful youtube tutorials for this. Eyes for this type of head are usually constructed out of some mix of plastics or craft foams, as well as buckram- a fabric that you may see out of from inside the suit, but that spectators looking in won't be able to see through.
Realistic heads are usually built on top of resin cast bases. You may learn how to sculpt and cast these yourself, or you may buy them off of a vendor online. Their eyes are commonly cast resin as well, with mesh inside the tear ducts that you may see from.
Body suits and other parts of the body are built out of faux fur. This is a polymer-based textile that you can find in many varieties online. It's impossible to dye, but you can paint them with acrylics.
Notions that you will need will include plenty of thread in your fur's color, lots and lots of hot glue, bias tape to finish the end of your paws, and stuffing to stuff tails and props. Elastic and some EVA or anti-fatigue mat material is also good to have on hand (particularly for outdoor feet paws), as well as any colors of paints you intend to use.
Tools may include a sewing machine (optional), hand sewing needles (not so optional), fabric shears, electric clippers for shaving down fur, electric turkey carvers for carving foam (also optional), and a hot glue gun.
You may want to consider whether or not you want to add things like extra limbs, digi padding, or any other fancy thing that will require its own research. Good luck!
There are a great many people who produce high quality, professional fursuits (also called "animal suits" "animal costumes" or "mascot suits") for a living. A full-body costume can easily cost $500-$5,000 or more. Fully custom suits will generally be at the higher end of that spectrum.
There are a number of fursuit makers who maintain websites or profiles in online communities. Besides custom shops, you may also try a specialty costume or party retailer. Online auctions are also a good source for a fursuit, particularly if you'd like to find something second-hand or gently used.
A few fursuit buying resources are posted in the related links (see below).
Some examples of fursuit makers are:
Mixedcandy: Specialises in 'toony' suits, has been around forever and makes really high quality stuff: http://www.mixedcandy.com
Magpiebones: Excellent realistic costumes(Not sure if she has a website), lots of neat little odds and ends: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/magpiebones
Artslave: Does mostly scary and stylised stuff, good prices- will take up challenging commissions no problem(Does not maintain a website): http://www.furaffinity.net/user/Artslave

The Furducers make full-bodied fursuits for $800+. At least it's not like some prices that go up to $1,500.
CursingL: this might also help other people. http://forums.furaffinity.net/showthread.php?t=51194
You might find some at a Halloween store.
CursingL, you can't have external links. Someone flag him. *is a tattletale*
According the Don't Hug Cacti themselves the average cost of a suit is $3600. In order to get an exact quote from DHC they would need you to send them a concept art preferably one by Neon Slushie, whom you can find on their weebly site. DHC will only work with those over the age of 18 if you are under 18 and would like a suit you will need to have you parent or guardian contact for you. To see if DHC is currently accepting commissions please visit their website where their commission status is displayed just below their site banner.

A furry is someone who is a fan of anthro animals, or animal with human traits ie: Mickey Mouse.
The creatures themselves are also considered furry, if this is what you meant, IMO sorry you cant turn into a cartoon animal.
You could justask them if they are a furry.
If they say yes nothing should be done there is nothing wrong with being art of a fandom.
When I told my parents I was a furry, My dad disliked the fact that I was part if the fandom because he saw the other side, as in Mature content.
What I do in the Fandom is Fursuiting, and drawing furries. All General stuff.
First of all, Go up to her and ask her to talk, If she says sure, Simply you have to tell her you are a furry and explain to her what a furry is so she can understand that it isn't a bad thing.
unless they are really open about it it's going to be hard to tell. If they draw furries is one way to tell.
If she's your girlfriend, you've already become close. So basically, telling her you're a furry is as simple as saying, "There's something you need to know about me, and I hope it won't freak you out. I'm a furry." Her response will fall into one of three general categories:
"What's a furry?"
"Eeew, that's gross!
"Great! What do you want to do?"
Good luck!
