How can you get your new leopard gecko iv had for three days to eat his mealworms?
If you've only had him for three days - there's a chance he's still finding his way around his new home ! Think how you'd feel if you'd suddenly been taken from your home to somewhere new.
Make sure he has water to drink - and keep offering him food. He'll take it when he's ready.
1. They are naturally nocturnal
2. They have excellent night vision, which gives them an advantage for prey.
3. They have silent wings, so this combined with the darkness, makes is almost impossible for prey to detect them.
My geckos make a hissing sound or a "gggck!" sound when they are mad. I don't know if this is the same for others.
The gecko drinks water. DON"T give it tap water if you have city water. Don't buy it bottled water, either. If you let some tap water sit out 24 hours, it will be fine for the gecko.Or you can use a water chlorinater, it takes away all the bad chemicals in the tap water, just one or two drops will do.

Can you have more then one crested gecko in the same tank?
Male Crested Geckos (R. Cilatus) are a very terrestrial species. Sided by their solitary attitude, housing two male crested geckos will promote stress for both animals. Males have instincts to "own" territory, if one of an opposite species is present or one of the same sex and same specie, most males will bite, bark, chrip, wrestle, or even shoot snobby looks to one another untill one removes itself or is moved from the situation. This can even in some cases end in death. Crested geckos have great eye sight, and even if males housed in seperate terrariums that are side by side, is close enough to have them "glaring" at one another.
In some cases, studies have shown that males that have not reached maturaty OR that have not bred yet, tend to let these tendancies slide. Once reaching maturaty, or being introduced to a female just once, the males instinct will take over.

LEOS ARE BETTER. with a kit at petsmart i gt him for 100.
The only times I know that they are aggressive are: 1. when you put a different type of gecko in the same tank. (I have heard of some that are ok) 2. if you put two male leopard geckos together. (females are normally ok) 3. they are very aggressive to crickets! :)
No they are not. Usually geckos aren't a dog's fav. meal, they might sniff it, but I'm pretty sure they won't eat it. The gecko's defense mecanism is their tail. If the dog gets a little curious and moves it around, "threatens it" its tail will fall off. This should "scare" it probably. But a lick won't do anything.
What to to if your pet gecko won't eat?
first of all give it a varity of food items, pinkie, wax worm*, mealworm, goliath worm, crickets, ect. give it a day (no more) than find a local exotic animal vet they'll no whats a matter. make sure its not about to shed they'll refuse food for about 4 days before shedding to tell if it is about to shed look at the color and if it is getting really dark it is. and pattern of when it last shed if not sure TAKE TO VET!!
Why do leoperd geckos eat their skin?
Because the skin contains some of the vitamins and minerals the gecko used from its diet to create the skin in the first place. Forming the new skin (underneath the old) uses valuable resources - eating the old skin helps replenish these minerals and gives the gecko some nourishment to sustain it until it finds a meal.

as I am a leopard gecko breeder, (a lizard breeder really but I specialise in Leopard Geckos), Leopard Geckos, In my case (That's 17 geckos!) prefer beige, greens, cream and light browns. They love sandy colors but ensure that the rest of the enclosure is safe first. Leopard geckos always seem to adore a rocky cove to sleep in, they love their food to be scattered about or in a large natural looking dish. Overall, I would say, bright colours can actually scare some more shy and timid ones, however, the personality decides wheather they will like colors or not. A natural desert or rainforest backdrop/sheet is a great idea, and I strongly recommend these, a large one or several ones, means you can give your gecko some varietyof backgrounds, colours and features.
Hope this helps! :)

What does a round island day gecko do when in danger?
Like all gecko species, They have the ability to close the cartilage of the base of their tails and they can "drop" their tail. The tail acts as a decoy, while the gecko can retreat to safety.
Leopard geckos do not have the ability to speak in English by any means but they can vocalize. Geckos will vocalize for many different reasons. Males will call out to females in order to prove dominance, and prove whom is the bigger male for rights to breed. A lot of leopard geckos will hiss when feeling threatened or in danger. Tokay geckos are notorious for croaking and grunting. Geckos are the only species of reptile that have this ability to vocalize.
