Can a leaperd gecko be put in with a albino gecko?
Yes, both are the same species but may be different morphs. Leopard geckos have been in the reptile hobby going through selective breeding for a very long time. With selective breeding, some genetics are dominant and others are recessive. Dominant traits are traits that only one parent needs to exhibit and recessive are traits that both mother and father must carry in order for the babies to show these genetic. Some of these genes may not always be physically present but are in their bloodline. Thus, a lot of breeders would like the seller to define their specific bloodlines in order to try and predict what the babies may turn out like. Albino comes in three different recessive strains: Bell, Tremper, Rainwater. Each of these names derive from the last name of the person who discovered the trait.
Can a baby leopard gecko go with a baby uromastyx?
No. The vivarium conditions would be incompatible.
Uromastyx or Spiny-tailed lizards need high basking temperatures (surface temperatures of 140°F); a 40 gallon tank (at the very least) to separate the warm and cold areas; ultraviolet light so intense it could kill a Leo; and dark, leafy greens other than lettuce every day.
Leos only need about 90°F at the most (with one area cool), live insects to eat, and about a 20 gallon tank.
If a leopard gecko doesn't want to be held what do you do?
Keep trying to hold it. It will soon get used to you, and will grow more comfortable in being held. Hold it with your hands inside it's tank/cage, so if it jumps down it can't run away. Don't grab it, but gently give it a nudge onto your hand.

What are a leopard gecko's sleeping habits?
Well, its nocturnal so it will sleep in the day. For a couple days USUALLY it may NOT SLEEP when you first get it, but mine (had it for 7 months) is peacefully sleeping. L geckos have eyelids so you know when they're sleeping and like to sleep when someone is talking in a gentle tone, the sound of nothing, or something going on, (like TV).

All species of beetles are insects, and all insects are invertebrates. They have an exoskeleton, with no backbone or spinal cord. They belong to the Phylum Arthropoda, which includes organisms such as insects, spiders, centipedes and millipedes, and crustaceans.

The earliest gecko species found dated back to 55 - 43 million years ago during the Paleogene period, while the Himalayas were being formed. It was found on the Island of Madagascar, which had detached from Pangea from about 65 million years ago and now resides in the Australian fossil and mineral museum.
These animals have been around for hundred's of thousands of years. They came from every continent except the cold south of Antarctica and still do to this present time.
The earliest known reference for the word gecko comes from the year 1774, from the Malaysian word 'gekoq', said to be imitative of its cry. Earlier forms were chacco (1711), and jackoa (1727).
Crested geckos are omnivores: Their Primary diet consists of fallen fruits, tree saps, natural syrups, pollen, and the occasional insects.

Can panther geckos live with leopard geckos?
Leopard geckos cannot live with panther geckos. Even though care for both are generally the same, there are some huge differences between the two. Leopard geckos are usually between 7 and 10 inches long (some almost a foot), and panthers are 4-6 (or occasionally up to 8) inches long. This size difference alone could do it. The Leopard geckos would pick on the panther geckos.
Also, the climate of the two needs to be very different. Panther geckos live in southern Madagascar naturally, while Leopard geckos live in Afghanistan and neighboring countries. Panther geckos need higher humidity levels than Leopards, and lower temperatures.
Together, either the leopard gecko, or the panther gecko, will suffer, if not both. Please, don't keep these two creatures together. It won't work out well.
Is a gecko ectothermic or endothermic?
No, A green tree frog is an exothermic (cold blooded) animal. :)
Can a crested gecko live with a green tree frog?
I wouldn't recommend it - for the following reasons...
(1) they're from completely sides of the planet and would never meet each other in the wild.
(2) they need completely different living conditions (the gecko would need a much higher temperature range which would be uncomfortable for the anole)
How long does a crested gecko live?
15 years if properly cared for.
The average lifespan is 10-15 years - though there are always exceptions.
Can crested geckos and fire- bellied toads live together?
Im not sure if it is recomended... But i keep my fire belly toad and baby razorback musk turtle and some fish in a 10 gallon for awhile now and they have never had any problems.

Jill
Yes, they can. While the majority of gecko species lay eggs, there are some gecko species that bear live births, in a method known as vivipary or ova-viviparous.
Some species that bear live births include: Naultinus elegans elegans, Rhacodactylus trachyrhynchus, Rhacodactylus trachycephal. In addition, there are approximately 40 gecko species endemic to New Zealand which all give birth to live young. No New Zealand gecko lays eggs.
What would happen if the lepared geckos went extinct?
If the leopard were extinct there would be the possibility of a population explosion of animals upon which it preys. This population increase could result in a decrease in food supply for that animal through over harvesting.
How many mealworms should you feed your leopard gecko each day?
Feed them two or three medium to large worms at a time. Worms are good for turtles, but they are omnivores and need a varied diet so don't make it the only food. Water turtles will eat cooked shredded meats, meal worms, greens like dark green romaine and dandelion greens, which you can float on the surface of their water (and greens make cute hats, as you'll see if they end up on the turtles head as it emerges from the water) and turtle sticks, which contain vitamins. The same rule goes for box turtles and tortoises, too.
Worms are like candy to turtles and can be harmful if they are the only food, so change it up!
