Im pretty sure, you just have to hold him for awhile. i pet mine on the head while he lies in my hand, and when i stop, and he doesnt look around, i figure he must be sleeping...or i rub overtop of his eye (where his eyelid WOULD start) and he doesnt stick them in his head. the question would be sooooo much easier to figure out if they had eyelids lol :(

No. They can not as the Golden geckos are nocturnal and the day geckos are diurnal. They would require different heat, different lighting and I'm sure you've read this but I will say it again do not mix different species. Day gecko are from the Phelsuma family and Golden's are from the Gekko family.

The answer is no. Animals of different regions, habitats and Eco systems cannot sustain life with another animals of different likes. A leopard gecko from the deserts of Afghanistan with temperatures reaching in the low 100'sF cannot live with a crested gecko from the rain forests of New Caledonia where temperatures never exceed 80F with humidity levels on the scale of upwards of 80%. Species of the exact same region with the exact same requirements can be housed together, and even in these circumstances, most avid hobbyist's do not recommend doing so. There are many factors: Temperament of the species, sex's, size of the animals, cooling period and breeding season, individual temperament's, feeding schedules, humidity, heat, lighting.

Price is not the proper question, quality is the answer. A lot of pet stores are in the trade for the income. Quality is where a lot of people have confusion. Quality of an animal is determined through the breeder. Does the breeder house the animals properly, have they received proper supplements, are the husbandry requirements being reached? Is it being cared for? And similar questions... A lot of chain stores will offer credit to customers in exchange for their pets. At this point is when and where sick animals will be accepted in the store for sale. An animal with a low price may mean someone needs to rid of it, it may be sick, or ultimately, if the owner did not have the time or finances, the animal is not guaranteed.

Crested geckos have a clear membrane covering the eye, this membrane is a clear, transparent eye contact more or less. it stops dirt, oxygen, water, substrates etc.. from entering the eye. when something external touches the membrane, they will lick their eye in order to remove anything. The Crested geckos come from the Diplodactylinae subfamily under the Genera Rhacodactylus. Geckos of the Eublepharinae Subfamily are known as "eye lid" geckos all have eye lids. These consist of the: Leopard gecko (E. macularius), the fat tailed gecko (E. Hemitheconyx) etc.. When sleeping, resting, swallowing, and of course blink, their eyelids will close.
