Ghosts have many favourite places, which are normally near to where they lived or near to their family. They do not have a specified road where they all roam.

You can't check if your house is haunted but you can feel or see them there. You might see them on the corner of your eye, you might feel scared or like your being touched by something you can't see or you might just see them.

If you have seen or felt anything the above person said,and if you are still uncertain of what is lurking in your house, then you could hire a psychic medium to visit your house and ask them if anybody is lingering in your house. If you cant do that, then why not set up a video camera in your house to record when you go out or at night, and see if anything wierd has been happening. Ghosts cannot hurt you,because they do not have the strength to do so. They are either just curious or just want someone to give them some attention..They wouldn't want to hurt you,and they only scare you if they know you are scared of them. Good luck :)

i live in new lenox and i believe it is. if you go on youtube.com and search "new lenox Clinton road" there should be a few videos of people's visits. i think it is haunted, there is a story that the man in the haunted house went crazy hung his whole family in the basement (in one of the youtube videos it shows the actual beam where he did it). people also get chills on the street while it mights be warm outside. it may not be haunted, but i definitely believe it is.

Not really, mostly created by Hollywood to make their story more interesting, it's true that Matt or Kyle or whatever his name was had cancer and was cured, and there was the room with the gurney and all the funeral home stuff in it, also the house was a funeral home. As for the events that happened, the bloody mop incident happened, the shower curtain thing happened, but to the mom, the dishes moved, and also I think there were problems with the light bulbs but the dad wasn't drunk. Everything about Jonah and the seances with the ectoplasm and the bodies in the wall with the eyelids and the carvings were all fake, as I said, just created by Hollywood to make the story more interesting.
