A good quality gel cyanoacrylate (crazy glue). -A better way, in my opinion, but not always available, is to take it to a glassblower and have him 'weld' it. In my area we have many excellent glassblowers operating small businesses or very good 'hobby' businesses.

Cyanoacrylate, commonly known by the trade name "Super Glue", can be removed from brushed nickel with acetone. Acetone does not react with metal, and is in fact used in industrial settings to prepare various metals before painting. Simply put nail polish remover, which contains relatively high amounts of acetone, on a clean towel and vigorously scrub the affected area.

Try a putty knife or a razor to get most of it off then use sand paper to get the rest. If still not working then use kerosine. If not then, then pour a small amount of gasoline on it and let it sit then wipe it off.

You can glue things faster and more easily with a glue gun than with a tube of glue (although I still use tubes, personally).

First try using mineral spirits or lacquer thinner. If that doesn't work, then you will have to carefully wetsand and buff with 1500 grit sand paper. You most likely would want this professionally done at a detail shop or body shop.
