Surprisingly, many gluten free pastas are coming onto the market. They have some at Jewel Os-co, Trader Joe's and a store called New Vitality. My favorite type of pasta is tinkyada from Jewel Os-co. It is wheat free, gluten free, cholesterol free, low fat and low sodium, has a good consistent texture, not mushy, and Al Dente. They are the spiral types.

What is safe to eat on a gluten-free diet?
The safest things are most likely going to be your home made meals because you know exactly what is in what you are eating. So those foods that are always safe would be, vegetables, fruits, meats, and seafood. Most juices are also safe if there are no additives. Coffee is always dangerous especially if flavored so BE CAREFUL! Always ask if certain items are gluten free when at a restaurant because you never know what they can add to the most simple items. Hope this helped!

Do Goya dry beans have gluten in them?
yes it says's so right on the bag also contains soy
Actually, it says "may contain wheat and soy". There are no gluten containing ingredients in dry goya beans, but there IS the possibility for cross-contamination, which is why the warning is on the label. Since dry beans are minimally processed, rinsing them well will probably remove most traces of gluten, but it's a calculated risk you will have to decide whether or not to take based on your level of sensitivity.
