- Go to Microsoft Word 2003 (if you have a Mac I can't help you, if you have a newer version of Microsoft Word I'm not sure if this solution works)
- Paste, then look for a little clipboard icon with a down arrow at the end of your text selection
- Click the clipboard and/or the down arrow
- 3 little multiple-choice options will appear. Select the "Keep text only" choice, then click outside of that menu to exit
- Copy the text again
- Crl+V onto GoogleDocs
