Most computers come with an Integrated Video Chipset, which means yes it's pre-installed. If you buy a new motherboard, it may not come with Integrated graphics, but it will have either a VGA or PCI-E slot to add an external one. Then again, if a motherboard had integrated graphics it also may still have a VGA or PCI-E slot to upgrade.

You need a modernized laptop to play DX 11 Games. Laptop graphics dont come externally only desktops can. Look up Alienware and they will have special laptops that are designed for gaming

Project64 doesn't really handle any SiS graphics cards very well. A dedicated video card takes the processing away from the CPU, freeing up processor time for other activities.

A graphics card is build specifically to render graphics and carry out the post processing, where as your main CPU is not (although it can do both regular and graphics processing) . The graphics card takes away the heavy load of graphics from the main CPU (and RAM) so it can focus on preforming other tasks which makes them run faster.

True PCI Express is about the same design but uses the address more quickly it is alot faster. It is Diffrent that PCIe witch Stands for PCI express as well just not true.

You might be surprised. Many supercomputer processors aren't really all that fast... in fact, the processor in your computer may well be considerably more powerful. They make up for it by having a lot of them. Rendering programs like those used by Pixar are inherently scalable... the objects in the image are moving in a particular way which is defined by known parameters, so you don't have to process the frames in any particular order. It's fine if it takes a processor 20 minutes to do a single frame, if you've got ten thousand of them working on ten thousand different frames at a time.

Sadly it does not. It has no pixel shader at all. I am plagued by the same graphics card and cannot play team fortress 2 because of it. It is an outdated card and you should probably upgrade. However you can emulate pixel shaders if you have enough CPU but not enough cash to buy a new graphics card. But prepare to lag because even some of the best emulators don't go as fast as grapihics cards. Buying a new card is your best bet
