Gamblel's quail eat a variety of things. They need a diet high in protein. I feed my quail game bird feed and quail seed as their main diet. I also raise crickets to feed them which they eat a lot of. They like a variety of fruits and vegtables.

Try broccoli. My quail actually call to me when they are looking for a cricket meal. Now and then I give them meal worms as a treat.

well, you have to make an incubator to keep it warm... don't keep it under a light tht is over 90 degrees, or you're egg is DONE. you cant keep it outside, or under a blanket it wont help. (if you touch one egg you must keep all the eggs.)

When they first hatch start them on chopped green onion tops, but make sure that they are chopped VERY small. With the green onion tops chop some boiled egg just like the green onion tops ( VERY SMALL). Or you can buy some Turkey Starter in the granule formula opposed from pellet formula. Once they are older you can feed them leftover grain from recently harvested grain crops, they like grass seeds very much, or the occasional insect they will come across in the wild.

Yes, you can. As they are the same species then they can be bred together. Think of it like dogs- a labrador can be mixed with a poodle, as although they are diffenet breed they are the same SPECIES

No. In 2003 there were only 65 Northern Quolls in the Northern Territory of Australia. Scientists moved them all to two islands off Arnhem Land, where there are no cane toads. (Cane toads are poisonous but were easy prey for the quoll.) Five years later, in 2008, their numbers have increased to over 6000, according the the NT Government Scientist, John Woinarski. However, the Northern quoll is classified as "critically endangered" in the Northern Territory, and "endangered" elsewhere. The Eastern quoll has become extinct from the mainland, and is only found in Tasmania, where its status, although relatively common, is "threatened". The western quoll is so named because it has become extinct from the eastern states, and is now only found in the far southwestern corner of Western Australia. Its departure from Queensland was basically unnoticed, as from the time of European settlement it was evidently quite scarce.
