Why did cronus swallow his children?
Let ME explain this better. Cronus was told that the next son he would have would kill him and rule the gods. So, cronus ate his 5 children. But his wife hid the last child and gave cronus a rock instead of Zues and when he was old enough he had metis create a potion that would make cronus spit up the children he had swallowed. After the gods/godesses were out of cronus they all fought him. The titans helped cronus. The ttans were sent to tartarus where they would be punished forever and Cronus was killed.
Why did Zeus Poseidon and Hades kill their father?
Because he had eaten Poseidon and Hades to stop any of his children from taking his throne.

Who did hades steal for his wife?
Hades stole Persephone for his wife one day. He kept her in the Underworld for 3 days, but eventually the gods found out and they tried to get him to free her. Hades made a deal with them and said that if Persephone had eaten anything during her stay, she would have to remain with him forever as his Queen. It turns out that Persephone ate 3 pomegranite seeds while in the Underworld, but she begged Hades to let her go. So, he decided that she would stay with him for 6 months every year, and for the remaining 6 months, she would return to the surface to live with her mother.

What are some stories on Hades?
Well, I am sure there are probably quite a few, but the most famous one goes like this: Demeter (goddess of agriculture) had a child with Zeus (king of the gods) who was called Persephone. Hades (god of the Underworld), Zeus's brother had spotted Persephone picking flowers and having fun. Hades thought the young woman was extremely beautiful and he decided since he was always lonely in the Underworld that he would like to have companion. So he got in his chariot and appeared through a crack in the earth and Persephone.
When Demeter discovered her daughter was missing she got very angry and sorrowful. All the plants dried up and a famine came upon the people of Greece. Demeter went to Zeus for a solution.
Zeus wanted to appease Demeter, but did not want to upset Hades. So he asked Persephone if she had anything while she was in the Underworld. She told him she had eaten four pomegranate seeds. Zeus then told Persephone,"Since you ate four seeds you will spend four months of every year in the underworld. The other eight you may spend with your mother on Earth."
That is how the Greeks believed the seasons were created. Four months of the year it was cold and hard to grow crops (winter). The other eight are the other seasons.
Ok wow that was a lot to type. I'm sure there are other stories about Hades, but I believe that is the main one.
Hope you enjoyed my fantastic story skills! ;)
What is the symbol for Hades god of the underworld and of the dead?
One symbol for Hades is Cerberus, the three headed dog that guarded the gates of Hades to prevent the dead, who enter on the river Styx, from leaving. Another object that is associated with Hades is the Cap of Invisibility, also referred to as the Helm of Darkness or the Helm/Cap of Hades. The Cap of Invisibility was given to Hades by the Cyclops. They gave it to him as the gave Zeus his thunderbolts and Poseidon his trident. As the trident is Poseidon's main symbol and thunderbolts are Zeus's, the Cap of Invisibility could be considered Hades's main symbol. The Cap of Invisibility allows the wearer to be invisible to any supernatural beings. The cap has a pair of wings on it, attached to each side of the cap.
What age did Zeus Hades and Posiden find out there powers?
They were probably aware of them when they were born, or when they were regurgitated by their father in the case of Hades and Poseidon.
How Hades judges ruled souls of the dead?
In Greek mythology, Hades judged the souls of the dead based on their actions and deeds during their lives. He would determine whether they would be rewarded or punished in the afterlife.
