Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire required a CD inserted into the disk drive in order to run. You need to insert the disk to play the game. If you have, and this error still occurs it is likely the disk is damaged. You can try cleaning it, but depending on the damage it may not work. You may be able to find a replacement disk on websites like eBay, but the game is no longer in production.

You are playing as Hermione in the Defense against the dark arts class (I think) and you come across a patch of fire and you find the spellbook somewhere within the cave.

Go to the clocktower and there are 3 kids there with information about the bluggers/bats- you are going to have to trade 6 gobstones.... with one of them to get the bats- (this is an easy game really) next to the 3 kids is another kid with a green looking marble thing over his head- play him to get gobstones- you can also go to the court yard to get some- or perform a spell on various bushes and they will come flying out. Learn the spell at Charms class.. go to the courtyard- and trade a girl for 2 chess pieces then go to the main hall and trade a girl the 2 chess pieces for her cleansweep broom. I am stuck on the quidditch gloves so anyone got anything for the gloves??

It sounds like their is a problem with the installation. You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

story mode

You will need a copy of the Harry Potter game that is designed for Mac OS X. After installing the game you click on the game's icon to play the game. The version for Windows will not work with Mac OS X.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone wasn't released on the PSP. The original game was released in 2001 and then re-released for newer platforms in 2003 which was still before the PSP.

There is a code on the back of the manual which will have to be used during the installation.

You cannot play this game on a PC that does not meet the minimum graphics card requirements. Either purchase a new card if you have a desktop computer, or buy the Wii, PS3 or XBox versions of the game.

In HP and the HBP, you must kill the Inferi as they come out of the water. If you let them surround you, you will have to replay the scenario over and over. A good strategy is to stand close to the middle of the area you are allowed. Your spells will automatically be directed at the closest inferi. Watch out on the waves for Inferi who climb faster than the rest. They must be destroyed before they touch you.
