If you get head lice your head starts itching but they are not dangerous at all but they may cause head sores

Have you washed everything, linen, clothes, sunned out pillows, and mattress if you can get it out, etc, etc? Because those little suckers can live in there until you get back into bed again. You have to hot wash E V E R Y T H I N G you came into contact with cause it's sounds like your just recontaminating yourself.

Either that, or someone you know has it and keeps giving it back to you. :D

No chances are you are getting re-infested from something/someone/somewhere, not the lice surviving in your hair. Lice can survive 36 hours without human contact, make sure everything washable is thrown in the dryer on high heat and everything else bagged and frozen in the freezer, or just sealed in a bag for 2 weeks. Your best bet would be to douse your hair with olive oil (smothers the eggs and any lice left on your head) to make it easier to pull the eggs off of your strands. Fluorescent lights are you best friend in finding hidden eggs too, always dip your delousing comb in rubbing alcohol to help kill everything.

Hairspray will not kill head lice. You would have to use enormous amounts to drown or encapsulate them, and even then, their eggs will survive. Lice shampoo is relatively inexpensive and much more effective.

You need to use a special shampoo made to kill lice- you can get it in any drug store. You will also need to wash any hats in it. Combs and brushes will also need to be cleaned. The shampoo kills adult lice, but not their eggs- which will hatch and start all over again. They look like small white dots stuck to hairs. There is a VERY fine toothed comb (same drug store) that can be used to remove the eggs. READ the label on the shampoo (RID is one popular brand in the US) and follow the directions.

i had nits and i went to the hairdressers and they didn't say anything, but some hair salons will say something! it is better to be safe than sorry :) i use cooking oil.

If you are asking about laundering items and killing lice that may be attached to clothing, sheets, etc., the recommendation is to wash/dry them as hot as possible. Head lice are very sensitive to heat and will not be able to survive long periods in hot environments. Most recommendations are to achieve temperatures of 130F and above.
