benefits:
used earbuds generically have better sound quality than new ones (more controlled and tight bass, less harsh highs and slightly more lush mids) as the longer you use a headphone, the more 'flexible' and 'loosened' the diaphragm (the sound producing membrane of the headphone/earphone) becomes. therefore, the looser diaphragm is capable of moving faster and producing better sounds. this effect is actually called 'burn in' and majority of headphones require 50 hours of 'burn in' to sound optimal.

Great sound, good looks and well worth 50$. Apple gives you crappy headphones because they aren't selling the headphones, there selling the iPod itself, they just throw those in there until you buy a good pair. Most people don't know that the sound is bad because that's all they listen too is the iPod headphones. Get some skullcandy's and you wont be dissappointed

Are JBuds J4M from JLabs good earbuds?
I got these headphones a little while ago, and I gotta say they're overpriced. The $20 Skullcandy's I had before have better sound quality. However, they're a lot more durable. I went through about 3 pairs of Skullcandys and although they sound great, they break VERY easily. The first thing you notice after you take the J4M out of the box is that they're high quality. However, they're also very bulky.
