From the earliest civilizations mankind has questioned the concept of a God or higher power as creator. Many religions believe in the concept of a heaven and a hell as a place that souls go to reside after death. Endlessly fascinating and at times controversial, Heaven and Hell are a part of the human experience.

Was there a war about the devil being cast out of heaven?
It is uncertain whether or not the war described in Revelation 12 has already occurred or is still future. But obviously something has already happened in the past (most likely after Adam and Eve's creation [Ezekial 28:15]) that caused Satan to become who he is and has been all these thousands of years.

Hell is a concept that some people feel is found in the bible. I don't believe that it exists, but in either case no one has discovered it because to discover something you need to come back from it and if it does exist that would be impossible and if it doesn't exist then, it doesn't exist to be discovered.
I think I've heard somewhere that god is the ruler of both Hell and Heaven, however, I know for a fact that Satan was sent to Hell to perish and rot for all of eternity.
I've never been there but the bible says the streets are gold (real), mansions imbedded with jewels of every kind, good food and plenty of it, and recreation, music and singing.

In my opinion, no, God is not sadistic because he allows hell to exist. God's main goal is to protect his "children" and when someone doesn't believe (have faith) in Him, then they can't be considered someone of faith.

Hell was a terrifying place in the Puritans' minds, especially as nobody could do anything about it. The Puritans were Calvinists who believed in double predestination and unconditional election: in other words, instead of believing that Christ died for all men, in their minds, Christ only died for the elect, and God has predestined some for hell, and there is nothing you can do about it. Their lifestyle was so rigorous as they believed that a moral life, while not changing God's decision (you couldn't) but it showed that you were one of the saved. This is why the early protestants in America killed the Indians left and right (unlike the Catholics who preached and tried to convert them) - the Puritans believed that the Indians were not among the elect, the saved. Do Muslims believe Christians will go to heaven?
Who goes to heaven is ultimately in the hands of God, so the question might better be: does The Bible teach who goes to heaven? The answer is yes. Romans 10: 9 says "If you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." It is on that basis, that Christians believe any person will be saved.
As a Christian, I believe that the criteria set out in this verse apply to everyone. It isn't a matter of what label you wear, though. The Bible does not teach that if you wear the label of 'Christian' that you will automatically go to heaven either. In Matthew 7, Jesus says 21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.22 Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?' 23 Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'" Clearly, Jesus is speaking to people who claim to be His followers, and even do great works on His behalf, but their hearts are anything but His.

The criteria are spelt out clearly in Romans 10: 9. 1) Jesus must be the Lord of a person's life. ie the first and foremost, his/her God. Muslim teaching denies that. 2) the resurrection is a compulsory belief, because it places humans and God in the right perspective. Humans rebelled against their creator. By that act, all humans were cut off from heaven. God sent His divine and sinless Son to die on the cross, to pay the penalty humans could not, to make it possible for ANYONE to enter heaven, and He rose from the dead to prove who He was and how He had power over sin and death. The Muslim scriptures deny the crucifixion and the resurrection. Therefore, believing in Islam denies the basis of salvation as set out in the Bible.
However, does that mean that NO Muslims will go to heaven? Not at all. Every day, we are hearing of Muslims who are having dreams and visions of Jesus and coming to a saving knowledge of Him. Some of these are escaping to places where they can worship freely but there is no doubt that there are many behind the Muslim Curtain who are worshipping secretly, and even dying for their faith, and yet we hear nothing of them. The challenge is there though, in Romans 10: 9: you cannot serve the god of Islam AND Christ. You have to choose. As a Christian, I pray that God will reveal Himself in dreams and visions to my Muslim friends and enemies and set them on the path towards His Son, Jesus, who DID die on the cross for their sins (and mine) and who DID rise from the dead. I also pray for those who call themselves Christians, but do not believe, and for those who have turned away from Christian teachings, that they, too, might, one day, enjoy the presence of Jesus in heaven. Jesus Christ tells us in His Bible that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and that no man can come to the Father in Heaven except by going through Him. Heaven is that place where one has access to God. a place where men and women and animals will be able to comunicate with each other. We will meet loved one who have passed away. There will be buildings and roads, trees and flowers beyond immagination.
We will by the turn of our head go to any place we wish. Heaven will be a great Urim and Thumin where we can go anywhere, see anything and understand all that God has for us.

Heaven is not definable as a geographical location, at least not within our own understanding, so therefore cannot be placed or located in tangible terms. If you want answers as to where and what Heaven is, read through Revelation, the last book of the Bible. We are also told that all authority in heaven and on earth have been given to Him.
