a buttload, u inject heroin, u smoke weed, and much more
Just to correct the answer below, your veins will get hard and collapse way earlier than a year or two. I have been using for 9 months and having nothing left in my feet, arms, wrists, and hands. Im reduced to in between my fingers and or some tiny vein in my hand that hurts like hell.
Daily use for a prolonged period of time say a year or two will cause veins to collapse. This is mainly with black tar since it is slightly more dense than powder heroin on the east coast but eventually yes you can collapse your veins.
when it bubbles, then let cool and fire away!
Yes. A large enough amount, but usually as all drugs and drug use go, every individual is different, and will always react differently to the substance. One person could do heroin his whole life, more than the said limits and be fine, and another could use once and die. You never know, just another one of those risks in life.
Heroin can effect your judgement in oh so many ways. I did some things that I would have never ever thought of doing before I became an addict. I basically lost all sense of right and wrong, or just did not care because I was to worried about finding a way to get high so I wouldn't have to go through the pain of withdrawal. I'm not proud of the things that I have done, but now that I'm clean I realized that, that was not me, it was the heroin overtaking my whole life, and making me into a person that the real me wouldn't even think of giving the time of day to. Heroin is a very strong addicting drug that will not just cloud your judgement it will take away everything you love, and if that's not bad enough it will someday kill you if you don't get help. If I could go back in time I would never even know what heroin looks like right now, but I can't so all I can do is try to help other people. Please think about everything you love in life and then think about how it would feel to lose it all, because that is what WILL happen if you decide to use heroin. Don't worry about your judgement, worry about your life
IV heroin users often save their cottons (which are used to filter their shot) because they retain minute amounts of the drug. When the user runs out, doing a cotton shot will often stave off withdrawal symptoms for a few hours while the user searches for their next fix. However, doing cotton shots carries the risk of causing "cotton fever" as the cottons, especially if they have been stored for some time, can be a breading ground for bacteria. In my junky days I saved cottons but usually threw them out after a 48 hours as the fear of the fever just wasn't worth it to me. Users with a high tolerance will likely get more frustration than relief from doing cottons.
You will start to feel withdrawal symptoms in just about 6 hours or so, but the drug won't completely leave your system for approximately 72 hours.
Ranges from $140-150 retail
Provides many "normal' doses to a person. However, as tolerance to heroin occurs, a gram can be used in 12 hours. (In users with high tolerances)
Buying a gram is usually the best way to buy heroin. Buying single hits or bags or bindles can result in poor quality and quanity. You can still get bad quality gram bags, but the chances are LESS likely to happen.

Where I live, the street value for a gram of pretty good quality black tar heroin is about $50, depending on where and who your dealer is. Like Laudium said, it's better to just buy a gram and use it when you need it than to buy single bags or hits, for one thing because of the quality, and another thing it's a pain in the ass to hook up with your dealer every time you need another hit. So a gram is a good amount if you're just starting to do it or if you have good control over your habit, but if you're a really big addict you can smoke or inject a gram in a day, easy. That's a good way to OD, just so you know, so I don't recommend doing a gram right off the bat. Ease your way into it. Smoke instead of injecting, it's a lot easier to get HIV and eventually AIDS when you inject.

Heroin and oxycodone are both opiates derived from the opium poppy, but each one is based off of a different alkaloid.
Roxycodone is the brand name for an oxycodone instant release (where Oxycontin is oxycodone continuous release). It is a painkiller and is based off thebaine, an alkaloid from the opium poppy. The effects are a little more speedy then heroinas thebaine has some stimulant properties. It makes you extremely happy and social for a bit then makes you nod (drift in and out of being alert) and just feel good.
Heroin is based off of Morphine, another alkaloid of the poppy plant. Morphine is much more depressant like then thebaine. Along with the euphoria you get much more numb and you nod more then you would on oxy.
Oxy: more of a head high, slightly stimulating but also depressing
Heroin: More of a body high, complete numbness.
Both cause intense euphoria, itchy skin, nodding, constipation, and insomnia since they are both opiates.
When using unsterile works or SHARING
If someone is taking Methadone for addiction and they are on an appropriate dose, they should feel normal and able to function throughout the day. However, if too much Methadone is taken, it can cause euphoria, drowsiness, and cause someone to fall asleep throughout the day.
