When hugging do you put your head to the left or to the right?
any side that you feel comfortable with Yes. I know most girls worry that he will put his head to one side (left, right) and that you will to, making you face eachother(rather closely too). But for some reason that never happens, or atleast I have yet to see it. I always go to the left and I'm not quite sure. Maybe it has to to do with the positions you hug them.

There's actually not to much being done to save Hippos. There are park rangers at certain places trying to keep them alive, but they can only do so much. The main thing saving hippos are donations given by generous people. People donate money so there can be more park rangers, because there arn't enough to really pay attention to all of whats going on. Not to long ago they found a dead Hippo burned under a pile of wood in Vitshumbi. Lake Edwards needs a lot of donations and help. In 1976 there were 27,000 Hippos in and around lake Edwards. In 2005 there were only thanks to poachers there are around 350. Today because of more donations they have around 1,200 but donations are the only things saving these amazing animals.

According to www.wikipedia.com a herd of hippopotami is called a pod, herd, dale or bloat and that the plural of hippopotamus is variously: hippopatami, hippopotamus or simply hippopotamus.
Personally, I like the term bloat simply because it sounds funny. :)
As far as the plural of hippopotamus goes, I think hippopotami makes the most sense as it follows the pattern of cactus/cacti and octopus/octopi.

I doubt very many cats have ever been around hippos. And if they were I am sure they would either avoid them, or simply not care.
Hippos have two front feet and two back feet, for a total of four feet.
