It's about Christmas spirit and a elf named Buddy. It's really funny.
It's also about how a human baby (Buddy) lands on Santa's doorstep and he grows up in the North Pole when he's older he goes to search 4 his dad.
All except one boy named Bill are nameless in the story line. the conductor, hobo, various RR men function anonymously. Surely people who have never seen each other would converse during a lengthy train trip and they would ask each other"s names, interests, etc. This does not transpire in the film . Also, nobody gets suspicious like the captive ( abducted on a UFO) scientist character in This Island Earth. The abduction angle is a sort of sordid touch.
