About 6 million Jews died in total, but there isn't an actual number because the Nazis had all documentation of Jews burned, so there wouldn't be any record of them in their population.

I wouldn't call it hatred, more a feeling that as the aryan race (In some peoples opinion) is superior to Untermenschen(sub humans) such as Jews, Gypsies, Homosexuals and disabled. Hitler was a fan of Darwin's 'Survival of the fittest' idea and so thought that the fittest race/ nation should fight against others to become dominant.

Not to sound offensive or anything, but people say it may be because God doesn't exist; that he's a simple figment of imagination or a creation of the human mind to give us confidence and company in our darker days.

There were four main rationalisations given by surviving Jews. The rise of Adolf Hitler to political power (as the leader of the Nazi Party), which was the result of the Kaiser's lack of success in dealing with The Great (economic) Depression of the 1920's-1930's.

It made them scared to be in public and the experianced they faced will never go away,so its burning them inside out because of the pain.

It's an unfortunate reality that the Holocaust DID in fact, happen. There are way too many eye-witness accounts, physical evidence, and admissions of guilt from German prison camp workers and higher-ups in the Nazi party to even TRY to dispute the Holocaust. It has a lot to do with the Protocols of the Elders of Zion - anti-Jewish texts first published in Russia, and soon thereafter internationally - and the book's continued presence as a top-seller among certain populations (such as Neo-Nazis).
