How do you use the Artemis' arrow on your mare on Howrse?
There are a few ways.
1. Go to your mare's page, under her picture is some boxes, there is a box that has a yellowy-greeny background colour, it's a small rectangular box, you should see some words in red in the right hand corner of it, click it, choose the A.Arrow.
2. Go to the Black Market, scroll down, you should see a list of what items you have on the right hand side, click the A.Arrow, choose how you will get it (paying a pass or getting it from your inventory. Choose what horse, then click confirm.

When should a foal be weaned on Howrse?
As soon as it is born. Also you will receive a notification on the left hand side menu if you are not given the option to vacinate & deworm the foal immeditatly after it is born. Obviously you have to have some in stock first. Hope that helps.
How do you make an reserved sale on howrse?
When you're selling your horse instead of clicking 'direct sale' or 'auction' you just click 'reserved sale'. You then put in the name of the player you're reserving it for. You have to have a certain amount of days to do this though.

When you buy the Hera Pack, it is already working. You wait for the pregnancy to be over, and then when your mare gives birth to her offspring, you get to choose their color. Also you can see that it worked by looking at the offspring's items and skills.
Btw, the offspring is born with high natural skills if both the parents are good racers.

The Golden Apple lets you change your horse's coat. Use it to choose a new coat that has been drawn by other Howrse players. Most of them are splendid - go take a look.
The Golden Apple can only be used on horses and ponies that are at least 1 year 6 months old. Special coats cannot be given to foals.
The Golden Apple takes priority over Medusa's Blood. If you give your horse a horse's Golden Apple and then turn it into a Pegasus, it will keep its Golden Apple coat.
Careful, only coats with a icon are compatible with Helios' Ray.

OK, here we go. Yes it is important to deworm your horse otherwise if you don't it will die, but you can sell them in the auction sales even though it hasn't been dewormed or not and the same is to colic or the flu.

No, Flax can be bought at any time from the EC store and is used to grow flax and flax bedding which can be sold or used in EC mashes. Pass seeds on the other hand are sold only once per year, and are used to grow one pass.

You can't like, just send it... but you can accept a covering offer if you can't access the PS. Most people who can access the PS just sell a horse for a large price. Then the other person in the trade buys it and you have the money.

How long does it take to run A CROSS COUNtry race?
It depends on how long the race is and how fast you are. Some people finished a cross country in 1 minute or 2.
It all depends on the person, I have been in cross-country for two years and my best time for a 3k is 14:19.
It depends how much you are in shape, and how fast you can go. But if you do a meet, just keep a good pace, don't push yourself to much.
How do you make a high earning compition on Howrse?
It is much harder to obtain your 20 wins when the horse is already well trained. Strange as it sounds, it's better to only train dressage and speed, some short trot riding and a little jump, and leave the main breed skill as low as possible.
This allows your horse to still enter low difficulty comps (because the main skill is so low) and yet win more often over the other horses.
For now, here is what you can do:
only enter competitions when you have a ToG
use fillers to help you along
don't enter races with higher skilled horses
enter the lowest level comps available
enter comps he is not so good at
Once you have your 20 wins, go back and finish training, rides and comps in the 3 best breed skills in order to finish blupping.

How do you manage a good equestrian centre on Howrse?
This is a very vast subject. I'll do my best! But for a nice chunk of info, I suggest heading to the small website that I added a link to below this answer. In the forum there is a topic about EC prestige. =)
Here are some of my main tips though:
- Start small. If possible, start with one DH box (it's the biggest kind, and you'll have 100% for box size prestige that way). Then either grow or buy flax bedding, for 100% bedding quality. And with only one box, you don't have to hire one, as Owlient supplies a free groom.
- While your job offers are open, hire temporary employees until the positions are filled.
- Only use fertile meadows for pasture, so the meadow fertility will be better. When they start to lose fertility, lay them fallow. Make sure you have at least 1 acre of meadow in pasture per horse boarding at your stable!

It is the minimum and the maximum age. Only Three-Year-Olds may run. The Derby is a race for Three-Year-Olds, the time when the horse is in its prime: just fully matured and fully muscled, track-broken but still spirited.
