1. Go to "Competitions" on your Equestrian Center's page

2. Click "Cross-country"

3. Enter the parameters for the competition (eg the name and the breed which it is reserved for)

4. on the bottom of the page, a grid will appear. Click wherever you want your start to be.

5. then, more elements will appear above the grid. Click on one of them and place it after the start.

6. When you get to the border of the grid, use the element "veer left" or "veer right" to construct a turn.

7. The more elements you use, the harder your course gets.

Howrse is a free online game where you take care of, and breed virtual horses. When you have played the game for 20 days you can even open your own Equestrian Center!

There are over fifty different types of breeds on Howrse, with more being added throughout the year.

When you start the game, you have to wait for ten days to be able to go to the Auctions and start selling and buying virtual horses. This is so you get used to the website and your horse.

After thirty days, you can participate in the Direct Sales! This is where you directly buy and sell horses with a snap of your finger instead of bidding and waiting in the Auctions.

You can also choose to breed mythical horses such as Unicorns, Winged Unicorns, Pegasus, Divines, Specials and Donkeys!

You can make your own Equestrian Center where people can board and earn you money.

Oh, dude, getting more droppings on Howrse is like asking how to get more rain in Seattle - it just happens. Your horses will naturally produce droppings as they eat and roam around, so just make sure you're taking care of them properly and the droppings will come. No need to stress about it, just let nature do its thing.

If you are just trying to get sponsors then you can e-mail people and when they signup from the e-mail you get credit or if they put your username under the sponsor spot.

Well if you look at one of your horses and scroll down and click on the genetics bar a box will come up that says some genetic things about your horse one bar will say BLUP if you put your mouse over that it will say a number if the number is over one your horse has a positive BLUP all you need to do is find a mare and a stallion that both have a positive BLUP and breed them if you dont get a colt then breed them again until you do

The way you find out is go see your horse you want to feed press the feed button and it will say fodder. Underneath that it says Hay... look directly to the right and you will see that is says 0/13.4. It will not always say 13.4 is how much they need to eat so make sure you give them the right amount. Here is a example- OK say I had a horse named Cutie. Well say she is 6 months at the time. She might need 6.0 pounds of hay. All I have to do is press the button that says Hay... and look for 6 pounds. I will then feed it to her and that will be the right amount. This promotion has ended, but when this event was around, hidden puzzle pieces were obtained randomly. They won't be on the same page for each player, only the ones that gave you specific tasks (i.e. Groom 5 horses) would give every player a piece just the same. The way to find hidden pieces was to just to keep going to different pages all around the site, and you'd find them eventually.

You can not send money on Howrse, but you can send items to other members after each of you have been registered for at least 10 days. Click on Friends at the top of the page and there will be a mail box icon where you choose a friend and the item to send.

It is no longer available but was worth 5 passes in the Black Market. It's worth now is relative to how much a player is willing to pay for a horse with the element attached, since the item itself is no longer available by itself.

9/10/11: The 5th Element is not available through the Black Market but through special offers from Howrse some players have them and you can trade for them through the Item Exchange. Actually, they are having halloween cards until tomarrow on 11-11-12 and if you find the certain amount of so and so cards you have a chance of winning the 5th element ;)

first, you need to know the definition of "bolding". When you bold your horses skills, you are not only literally making that skill name bold, but you are also training your horse to the point where it is finished training (AKA not gaining anything more in that skill). You do this by finishing the general training, do rides of all types (long and short) until it stops gaining, and by doing competitions. Unless your horse has a timer and/or a water of youth, it usually takes about over 15 years (i think) to bold a horse in all categories. An elite breeder could probably do it faster....

You will know when your horse is bolded because the name of the skill will literally be bolded. :)

It depends on what website you use to make the banner. You usually need to save it to your computer pictures. Then I go to tinypic.com to put the picture in there to get the coding to put in the presentation or for forums then copy the code and paste it.

Anything! if it's a good one, BM items, and if it's not very good, apples and Equus and aging points.

You can type in an asterisk (*), or copy/paste symbols you find. =)

OR you can give your horse an Apollo's Lyre (black market item). It allows you to put special symbols in your horse's name.

Go to your stallion and scroll to the bottom of the page. Under reproduction, click 'covering.' Set you price at whatever, since your breeding your own horses nothing will be taken from your account. Check 'private' instead of 'public' under the price box. Type in your username and click 'see the horses.' Check the horse you want to breed's name and click confirm. Then go to your mare and scroll down to reproduction. Click private coverings and your stallions name should pop up. Click the green check mark and if your mare is eligible to be bred, you'll have a pregnant mare.

Go to BREEDING FARM, click SHOP, select EQUIPMENT, then click on the SADDLE or BRIDLE you would like to purcase. check out the info quality and if you are satisfyed with the tack, click BUY, then change the amount of tack you want to buy. then click BUY.
