For a toothache most of your pain is coming from inflammation, so the ibuprofen (which has an anti-inflammatory effect) will do a much better job than tylenol, which really isn't a preferred medication by most dentists.

As a practicing dentist however the most important thing to remember is that if you're in that much pain from a toothache it is NOT going to get better, only worse, and likely can lead to serious infection of your gums and jaw, which can become life threatening. So please see your dentist to get the cavity filled or the tooth removed, either way you'll be in much less pain than you are now.

Yes, it is safe to take Advil and Gravol together. Advil is an anti-inflammatory medication and Gravol is an all natural product used to treat nausea. Always talk to a physician before beginning any medications.

If that was all you ever did, it would make you skinny sooner or later (shortly before you died). Otherwise, the only effects it will have are making your nose very sore.

as far as i know ultram is not an anti-inflammatory. is it used for moderate to severe pain. there still not quite sure how it works. it is not yet considered a narcotic but are talking about putting it in that catogery. hope its helping you for whar ever reason your taking it

Try swallowing the Advil whole. It tastes really nasty when you chew it. I'd throw up too if I chewed it.

No NSAIDS. These are non steroid anti inflammatories. Advil (ibuprofen) , Aleve (Naproxen), no vitamins that have vitamin A or E, no Omega 3 or fish oils. Anything that is a blood thinner do not take. If you're not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Tylenol (Acetominophen) is ok however.
