How can you tell if a double headed quarter is real?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

There's always the "drop test". A real coin will ring when dropped gently onto a counter top. One that has been cut and glued together will make more of a thud. You can usually find the seam where the two pieces join just inside the rim on one side or the other if you examine it carefully with a magnifier. Some have been made with the seam on the edge hidden by a thin layer of added metal which is harder to detect. More info can be found here : http://varietynickels.com/articles/twotailed.htm

Can you emancipate yourself in Idaho?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

To begin the emancipation process, your first step is to secure financial independence and move out of your parent's home. You must document that you are receiving no financial support/assistance from your parents. If your parents are supplying or paying for your vehicle, it is enough evidence to support your inability to obtain emancipation status by a court of law. In addition to financial independence, you must demonstrate to the court that you are capable of controlling your own actions and do not require supervision and direction from an adult. Once financially independent, with stable living arrangements, consult an attorney who specializes in emancipation for assistance with beginning the legal process.

What are Idaho's resources?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Wonderful volcanic soil which enables Idaho potatoes to grow so well.

Grand mountains provide hunting, hiking, skiing, mountain biking.

Some wonderful rivers and streams provide fishing, boating, white-water rafting, and nature hikes.

Lakes, some very large like the 25-mile-long Coeur d'Alene (cur duh lane) and the bigger Pend Oreille (pon doray) offer fishing, boating, water skiing, commercial fishing, diving and floats of logs to the sawmills.

Northern Idaho, especially offers opportunities for finding precious and semi-precious jewels and valuable metals.

You can dig for star garnets - the only one of 2 places these are found. You can pan for gold, or dredge for it. There are commercial mines like the Lucky Friday that engage in deep mining of silver, zinc, some gold, and some copper. I have an acquaintance who pays his yearly property taxes from his little placer gold mining setup. Also present are opal, beryl, and other semi-precious gems.

Northern Idaho offers big-game hunting for cougar, grizzly bears, black bears, wolf, elk, and moose, along with excellent bird hunting for Ringneck pheasant, Hungarian pheasant, grouse, ducks, and quail.

How long does it take for a package to get from Idaho to Pennsylvania?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It depends on where in Idaho and where in Washington.

If you're shipping from Montpelier, Idaho, to Forks, Washington - the two most distant points in the respective states - it'll take about three days.

The towns along the border are different. If you lived in Spokane, Washington, and ordered a product from a company in Post Falls, Idaho, it's cheaper and faster for them just to bring it to you.

But let's use a real-world example: The company I work for is in Coeur d'Alene. The chemicals we use come from a company in the Seattle area. It takes one day to get anything we need from them.
