Plug your ipod into your computer with the connection cord that comes with it, then wait till it says on your computer screen: "iPod Sync Complete, OK to disconnect". Somewhere in the process, it will say on your iPod screen "Syncing" and you will not disconnect your iPod attachment cord leading to your computer.
There are many shops on the high street and online that you can purchase a FM transmitter from. I would recommend that the best place to purchase this from wo9uld be the Apple store as it has very good ratings and is known for the goods being very good quality.
as in any case. always check power first. Does your ipod charge when connected? When an Ipod nano is not turning on charge it and check if it has been locked at the bottom because mine wouldn't turn back on when I turned it off with my wet hand and it was because it wasn't charged
Start playing a "song" as opposed to an audiobook file. Tap the middle of the screen where the album artwork is or would be. In the right corner, you will see blue crossing arrows...tap this icon to turn it white. The shuffle is now off and will be off regardless of playlist (audiobooks included).
You can't; the resolution itself is fixed by the number of pixels on the device's screen, and the operating system makes no attempt to up/down scale the interface in order to simulate more (or less) pixels (aside from the Accessibility technologies, which enable VoiceOvers, Zooming of the screen, and larger text).
In November of 2001 the first iPod was released in Europe. The development of the product began earlier in the year when Apple hired Tony Fadell. The iPod was received very enthusiastically throughout Europe and eventually the United States.
One can purchase used iPods and MP3 players at GameStop, pawn shops, classified ads in the local paper, and yard sales. Used iPods and MP3 players can also be purchased online on sites like eBay and Amazon.
Target Walmart Sam's Club Best Buy Radio Shack Apple stores obviously. There are others I'm sure, but these are the ones I've check prices at. Walmart and Sam's seem to be cheapest while Target, Best Buy and Radio Shack prices are all pretty close. Good luck!
Hey, The size of an iPod is almost as small as a credit card, but if you want it's exact size, then it's about >11cm high and 6 cm wide. and by the way the mesurments I gave you where for the iPod touch 3G, hoped I helped ;D
If you locked it and can't remember the four digit code, all you need to do is plug it into iTunes.
omg it works!! thanks^
Yes. Only iPod nano third generation and fourth generation models have the ability to import and view video files.
Download Winamp: http://www.winamp.com/
Then download the iPod plug-in: http://mlipod.sourceforge.net/
It works great, it is what I use. They support Album art, pictures, playcount merge, video, audiobooks, etc.
There are two ways to do this!
First, you can set the iPod back to factory settings, thus erasing all synced content and ressetting any changes you have made to the iPod itself. Hook up the little bugger and open iTunes if it doesn't do so automatically, then from the lefthand menue click on the tab that has the name of your iPod such as 'iPod Nano or Ryan's iPod or HOTMAKEOUTIPOD'; whatever it's name happens to be. This will open up the ipod menue and you should see a wee button that says 'Restore' on it. By clicking and confirming this, the iPod's drive is wiped of personal data and it goes back to the way it was when it was first pulled out of the box!
or, you can manually erase all the songs by going to the music tab under the name of your iPod in the iTunes menue, selecting the first song, then pressing SHIFT once you've reached the bottom. That will select all the songs in your library and then by left clicking and selecting delete, backspacing, returning, etc depending on whether you have a Mac or PC, all the songs will be removed from the library and, upon resycing, on the iPod, too.
These instructions work for all iPods, by the way. (: I hope all goes well in your quest to swipe those songs!
To reset a first generation iPod nano, hold the center button and the menu (top) button down at the same time, and hold them down for about 10 seconds (or until you see the Apple log on the screen).
No, you cannot get an anti virus software for your iPod Nano. Anti virus software only works with a PC, and are intended only for PC use. It is not known of any virus in an iPod Nano, so no anti virus software has been made yet.
You hold the play button down for about three seconds or wait until it turns off by itself.
A minimum of $50, if its in good condition. Somewhere a little over a hundred will be about the maximum you could get unless you get lucky.
But it also depends on the generation of it, and if it isn't in good conditoin (e.g. cracked screen), and what model it is (Touch, Nano, Shuffle).
Touches are worth the most, Nanos in the middle, and Shuffles you won't get nire than $10-$25 out of.
This is pretty freakin simples. You hold your finger for a few seconds on an app. Then all the apps will `wiggle` and tiny exes will appear on the corner of each. Click an X on the app you would like to delete and select delete. Or use this ro move apps about by holding an app and moving it via, swiping screens ect. Hope this helped.

Personal Knowledge. I am just that epic.
You would have to put the song on itunes. then you can put it on your ipod.
Super easy way to get your hands on your ipod songs: open my computer, file e: (when ipod is plugged in), go up to TOOLS, Folder options, View, and click on show hidden items (apple hides and scrambles your song list.) in e: click on ipod_control, music, and you should see "F#" these are the scrambled song titles. transfer to your desktop, and do whatever you want with your songs! great for transferring songs from one ipod to another! don't forget to turn hidden back off, don't wanna delete something you need!
Yes... in some cases you can... you may have to buy a set which you can find on eBay.com or any good electronics store... but i really wouldant advise doing it... if you want your ipod working... i would only do it if you knew what your doing... soo take it to a store to get it repaired... it may cost more... but they wont rip any of the internal wiring...!! Hope i helped a little...!! :D x
Yes. The only software needed is iTunes (or a similar alternative, see below) which is cross-platform and runs on all Windows and Mac computers.
If you don't like Itunes, try Foobar2000 - http://www.foobar2000.org - or just Google "iTunes alternatives" and you will come up with many results.
I hope this helped!
