The answer to this question might be one of two things:
1) It might be COMPLETELY dead and has to charge for a while until it shows
2) It might be that you synced it with one computer and then tried to sync it with another one and it didn't show because it is only capable of syncing with one computer.
Check those two things and see what happens. Hope this will help.
I don't know about the 2nd and 3rd gen but I know the newest.
First on the top of the shuffle we have the plug. You use that plug for the usb cable (charger) and you plug that into your Apple computer to put in songs from iTunes. Then the headphones, you probably know what to use that for. We can also use connectors to connect the music to an iDog or speakers.
2nd we have the VoiceOver button. We love the VoiceOver. You simply press it to hear the current track and artist's name. Press and hold to hear the playlist menu, and then lastly, press twice to hear the battery status. Several controls on just one little button, right?
The last button is a switch. It is not neccesarily a button but it is a switch. Move it to the left and it shuffles your music. Move it to the middle to play in order, then move it to the right to turn it off.
We also have buttons. It's really easy to use and I'm pretty sure you know how to use already. Press right to go to the next song, left for the previous song, middle for pausing and unpausing, top for louder, bottom for lower.
The first thing you need to do is plug in your ipod. Then you need to delete the songs you want to delete from your ipod from your itunes music library. You do that by clicking on the song (make sure it's highlighted) and then pressing the delete button on your keyboard. Once you are finished that, there is a bar of selections on the left side of your screen on itunes. You go down to "DEVICES" and double click on your ipod. It should come to this page that says the name of your ipod. When you get to that page there is another bar of selections on the top of the screen. Click on the music selection. Then you click "Sync Music" and then you click "Entire Music Library", and then anything else you want to select. Then at the bottom of the screen on the right, there is a button that says "Sync". Click that button, and wait until it is done syncronizing. The songs you wanted deleted should be gone. If not, sorry I couldn't help you.
Usually the USB port - flat, rectangular port that is about 1/2 inch in length. Look at the size of you Ipod plug and that will indicate where to plug it in to your computer.
There are only three different types of iPod Touches. That means there are three different generations available on the market. These generations are the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation of iPod Touches.
Any where between 500 to 600 songs. But again they depend on the file size
yes just press the next button just like any other ipod
Major retailers like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and others carry the Ipod Shuffle, and it can be found online at many sites like Amazon, and Newegg. Apple also has an online store that sells just about every product they make.
They all use the same slot for input but different chargers can use the same input.
In other words every ipod can be charged on one charger.
It depends on which iPod you're talking about, but on most of them you just slide your finger around the clicker.
The iPod Mini was released February 20th, 2004. The iPod Shuffle was released on January 11, 2005. The iPod Mini came first by almost a full year.
With a mac so first you plug you iPod into you mac then you make a folder and drag all of your music from your ipod into that folder then you drag the folder with the music in it onto itunes and it should begin to import all of the songs.
For an easier solution, try TouchCopy. It lets you copy songs from any iPod or iPhone to your PC or Mac hard drive or straight into iTunes. If you copy the iPod music into iTunes, you just need to re-sync your iPod to add all your old and new music to it.
Connect the iPod to a computer, go to iTunes, click on your iPod, press settings, click on restory, and the issue shoul be resolved.
^^^are you crazy?!!! if they do that all their data will be erased?!!!!!! DONT DO THAT GUYZ!!!!
This is what you should do and your iPod shuggle will return to normal: Connect your iPod to your computer, go to iTunes, then click your iPod icon and go to settings, and click restore. It will just erase te songs on the iPod, not all of the songs. Do this and you will be listening to music again.
Yes Of Course You Can.. Mater Of Fact ANYTHING It's Fits You Can Use It On
"it's very simple. Just deag and drop the songs that you want from itunes into your ipod(the icon of your ipod in itunes)."
No, it is not that simple.
You're right, it's not that simple...try this...

Im pretty sure that your ipod touch will work with ihome ih5 as the speakers are made for ipods they work with any type of ipod out there. If on the cover/box of the ihome ih5 says that it will only work with ipod nano ipod video etc. and ipod touch is not on there it only means that the speakers were made before the ipod touch came out and Im 100% sure that it will work with your ipod. I bought speakers for ipod (i also have an ipod touch) and the information on the box didn't include ipod touch as the electronic that the speakers will work with but my ipod works perfectly with the speakers and I have no problems with it.
You can't put songs from YouTube, including YouTube Music and YouTube videos. YouTube Music is a streaming music service. If you have a YouTube Music Premium or YouTube Premium account, you can stream music for offline listening. But all the streaming tracks need to be played with the YouTube Music app. But the latest YouTube Music app is not compatible with the old iPod Shuffle.
If you have a YouTube Music free account and still want to download songs from YouTube Music, you can try Macsome YouTube Music Downloader. It helps you to download YouTube Music songs to MP3 or AAC on your computer, even if you have a YouTube Music free account. Then you can sync the downloaded YouTube Music songs to your iPod Shuffle.
Actually it depends..when my iPod is charged it says in the scream..."Charged"
Assuming you have done the required steps of connecting the iPod to a computer with iTunes, putting music onto it and charging it, all you have to do is plug in some earphones, turn the device on and press 'play'.
9 times out of 10, you cannot add memory to your mp3 player. It is built with a built in chip with a certain amount of memory. The only way to increase the memory on your mp3 player would be to remove this and replace it, this will likely be more expensive to obtain the chop than simply buying a lrager mp3 player, and will likely not be successful unless you have the correct expertise.
You could simply try lowering the music quality to fit more music on, removing songs you no longer like, or try music in a better format to save on space.
Lightning bolt through the battery on the ipod touch means it is charging, when it is done charging, typicaly about 3-4 hours on AVG, there will be a fork looking thing which means docking will be horizontally on the batter in the top corner of your ipod touch or any ipod infact that has a screen dispaly, not a lightning bolt, lightning bolt means its charging, DO NOT OVER CHARGE YOuR IPOD, AND let your ipod touch die every week repeat this cycle apple support says this will extend the life of your battery.
"A 2gb flash memory disk should hold approximately 500 songs. This, of course, could vary depending on factors such as the file size and the song length."
