You cannot uncrack apps without a developer account from apple, or a trusted root certificate. If you have either of these, unzip the .ipa file and open terminal. Run codesign -f -s /path/to/.app/file/here/ "certificate name here" and walla. You have your uncracked app. You will be able to install the app with either a provisioning profile or with an itms-services link. Find more articles on itms-services links on Google.

Sorry to tell you this, but apple stopped updating the iOS for the 1st and 2nd generation, and the 3rd gen 8gb iPod touch. I have one too and I'm sad. SORRY!

You can buy it anywhere electronics are sold. Currently the ipod touch 4g costs $200 for an 8gig model. It costs about $300 for the 32 gig model and $400 for the 64 gig. Used ipods can of course be bought for a much lower price.

i learned this by mistake... on itunes there is an option that say transfer apps, depending on how many apps you have this could take like 5 mins, once that is done all your apps should appear ungrouped
