Edit: sorry about that i forgot to log in, but no there isn't an app that can tell what song youre listening to without a microphone. Its like a person with no ears trying to hear.

If you have dropped your ipod i the sink do not try and use it it will affect it worse first put in a bag of rice for up to a week . Or a very very dry room like close to the furnace about 4 ft away though. if still not working then check in the headphone jack shine a light in there and see if it is half red/pink <--- that means they'll know that it been dropped or exposed to water. it may work charge it and go directly under a light you may see finely the colors.

my ipod has done this and i can still use it just not easily as before I'm going to send it away to fix the LED light
