Since IQ (intelligence quotient) refers to the apparent mental age compared to the current age, an IQ cannot be applied to a vegetable since this would require the presence of observable intelligence. If anything, a vegetable would have an IQ of 0.
What type of questions are on the WASI verbal IQ test for a 8 year old?
Anyone that is qualified to administer this IQ. test is not allowed to divulge that information to the general public.
But rest assured, if your child has average intelligence the 8 year old will sail through it.
I'm not sure if it is normed for an 8 year old, it might be the WIPSSI.

IQ is scaled according to one's age.
It is calculated to be representative of how the person scored, compared to the average score for their age.
So, an average person (of whatever age) should score 200. Any difference from that - say 10 points above or below - is notable.
A gifted child is a student who is able to work at levels a normal kid can't. I'm one im 10 and i do 12 grade work. you might say that is a genius no it's not
