The 2000-2001 & 2002-2003 Jaguar S-Type has the most common hook-end wiper arms. See sources and related links below for installation videos. Also, purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages. Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.

8-10 clips at front (pop straight up very carefully) 5-6 clips in rear against glass side (pull straight back into car) solar headlamp is attached to grille in middle with 2 screws from underneath and has quick disconnect. Had windshield replaced and pulled it out to see how was together. clips up front are very tightly held down and if its not broken don't take out this vent cover because it cost $300 and when you try to take it out I can almost guarantee you will break it! The clips are that good! and held down that tight! my sensor went bad and had the dealer look at and quote me price for the $40 solar headlamp sensor ,but they included a price for the demister cause even they cant guarantee to get it out without breaking Go figure 5 mos after a quote from dealer, my demister cracked so guess I will replace it, along with the sensor!

If you have a V8, battery will be located in the trunk on right passenger side under platform.

Try this -- Press and hold MENU for 2 seconds. The display shows "ADJUST CLOCK" with the hours flashing. Press Seek arrow to change the hour. Then press MENU briefly and minutes are flashing. Press Seek arrow to change minutes. If you further press MENU repeatedly the display shows the current time mode and you can press Seek arrow to select 12 or 24 hour mode. Hope this helps.

Hi - Below the push button boot release is a key lock, under the lip between the number plate lights. Seems obvious but it is well hidden - I had to ring Lancaster Jaguar in Sidcup to ask where it was!

Open the back door and take out the passengers back seat.

now how to do that?right.

just hold the bottom of the seat and shake it until it get off.

put the bottom of the seat as far as you can on front seats.

you can't take it out because the seat belts are holding it.

now take a screw driver and unscrew the screws that are holding the back side of back seats they are all located on the bottom (don't worry it's little hard but you can do it so keep it up)now try to pull the back of the seats and with a flashlight

try to see inside the trunk. On the right and left there are two back seat release pulling wires (NOTE:TWO RELEASE WIRES TO OPEN THE BACK OF THE BACK SEATS ONE ON LEFT FOR LEFT AND ONE ON RIGHT FOR RIGHT)now try to reach one of them.

Ones you pull on it the back of the seat will be released now pull the other wire too, to release both sides.Ones they are down enter inside the trunk and fold the trunk carpet back now you can see the battery. With the car battery buster bust the battery (be careful the top one is Negative(-)and the bottom one close to you is positive(+) don't mix them if not it will catch fire try to see the +/- signs on the battery before plugging it ones buster plugged and power on the lights will be on now go to the driver seat and press the trunk release button it will open the trunk

in case it doesn't work try to start the car and keep pressing the trunk release button it will open it.Don't try to give a bust to the Jaguar s type fuse box located on the left of the engine under the front hood it can burn your electric system.(THE SAFE WAY TO DO THAT IS TO TAKE OFF THE FRONT RIGHT SIDE TIRE. IT'S LOCATED ON THE PASSENGER SEAT SIDE.ONES IT'S OFF TRY TO LOCATE THE ALTERNATOR ON THE ALTERNATOR THERE WILL BE A PLACE LOOK LIKE A SCREW PUT THE (NEGATIVE (-)BLACK WIRE TO THE METAL AND THE (POSITIVE(+)RED WIRE OF THE BUSTER ON THE ALTERNATOR SCREW AND TURN IT ON IT SHOULD TURN THE ELECTRIC SYSTEM OF YOUR JAGUAR S TYPE (ON)

When I had this dilemma I applied power under the bonnet with a portable power pack jump start thing or a pair of jumps from another car.

put the positive to the metal nut under the black rubber cover negative to any clean metal object on the car. press boot release button and away you go, no drilling or taking back seat out, you are reverse powering the battery in return it will power up all circuits,

it can also be used for jump starting if the boot is locked or jump leads are too short.

No special tool needed. Just go to your local AutoZone and find the correct fitting wrench and remove the 2 bolts holding the grill down. The rest is just a quick pull and your out.
