In the mob scene outside the hospital (about half-way through the movie) the camera pans across the whole line of N.O.I. soldiers, and I swear the last man in the shot is Jay Z. Could be wrong, but it looked like him. He wasn't too well known when the movie was shot but he was coming up in the early 90s and I wouldn't be surprised if Spike knew him back then.
