How did Beyonce get her name Beyonce?
Her mother, Tina Knowles, wanted to keep her mother, Agnez Dereon,'s maiden name, Beyince, intact, so instead of giving her daughter the middle name/last name of Beyince, she decided to name her daughter Beyonce. Beyonce has released at least three albums plus she was apart of girl group Destiny's Child and they have released more than three albums as well. Beyonce has recorded over countless songs. She has also collaborated with tons of artists such as Shakira, Sean Paul, Jay Z and others. Her nickname amongst her fans is Queen B, Queen Bee, or Queen Bey. Beyonce is married to Sean Corey Carter a.k.a. rapper Jay-Z Beyoncé has been incredibly successful for many reasons. She has a lot of innate talents: a beautiful singing voice, great dancing skills, and natural beauty. Probably more important though is that she has worked extremely hard her entire life to reach the level of fame she has now. She has been performing since she was a small child. Her parents and teachers likely pushed her very hard once they saw her natural abilities. She also works with incredibly talented people, who help write and produce her music, choreograph her dances, and style her. All these elements can make a pop star very successful, but without a lot of luck, Beyoncé would probably have been just a beautiful woman with a very nice voice. Beyonce was born on September 4, 1981 and she married Shawn Corey Carter better known as Jay Z on April 4, 2008.

Asked in History of Ireland, Beyonce, Whiskey
When did Irish whiskey and beer become world famous?
Sometime after 1831: In the early stages of whiskey production, the whiskey was blended with a thick malt. This gave the drink an almost soupy consistency and a deep, smoky flavor. This smoky flavor came from the peat that distillers used in the fires to dry the malt. However, in 1831 Aeneas Coffey invented a still, which enabled a continual process of distillation to take place. This led to the production of the grain whiskies of today. This lighter, more drinkable grain whiskey extended the appeal of whiskey to a considerably wider consumer market. Whiskey has survived the United States prohibition, countless wars and rebellions, harsh taxation, depression and recession, to maintain its position as one of the worlds most coveted liquors. Whiskey can be purchased in almost two hundred countries worldwide. Whiskey has surely left the Gaelic borders from which it was born and has spread throughout the world, infecting millions with its intoxicating luxury. Believe it or not, Irish whiskey was the number one selling whiskey in the world in Victorian times. The world went whisk(e)y mad after the failure of the grape crop in France meant the supply of Brandy was stunted. Everyone turned to whisk(e)y, and the most coveted whiskey was Irish pure pot still whiskey. However, a number of events conspired to shrink the industry to a meare two distilleries. Prohabition in America, protectionist policies in Ireland, the Temperance Movement, war with the British Empire, bootlegging... the list goes on. Thankfully, the industry is growing again. The Irish whiskey industry has grown to three distilleries, with another two opening soon.
