J.K. Rowling

In 1990, J.K. Rowling was travelling on delayed train from Manchester to London. She imagined the character Harry Potter with glasses, messy hair and a lightning bolt scar on his forehead. He had magical powers but did not know he was a wizard.

Rowling began writing immediately and continued working on the novel until 1995, when she worked to get it published. Bloomsbury published the book in 1997.

But, Kathleen is not Jo's middle name. In fact, Jo does not have a middle name. She took on Kathleen as her pen name's middle name because that was her grandmothers name, but it is not her legal name.

James Sirius Potter is named after Harry's father James Potter, and the Sirius part is named after Harry's god father who was murdered by Bellatrix Lestrange.

Albus Severus Potter is named after Albus Dumbledore, his "father figure", and Severus Snape another professor, aka "the bravest man Harry has ever met".

It is very unlikely- J.K says she has finished with the world of fantasy, but may still come back to it. However, now that Harry Potter is finished, she thinks that she has written enough about him and his world.

There were several false ones written in China a couple years ago. Other than that, no. The author has only written 7 books about Harry Potter. However, she has written some short companion-type books, such as Tales of Beadle the Bard, to which references were made in the 7 main books. I suggest going to barnesandnoble.com and searching "J.K. Rowling." Anything else you find is not canon--it is simply fan fiction. the reason they are the main seven is because there are only seven. therefore this question makes no sense whatsoever
