There are many differernce facets about the Nook and Kindle that have to be examined and anyone can put together an argument as to which is better for them. The pricing of the Kindle is a little less than the Nook, however the Nook Tablet has 1 GB of memory versus the Kindle which has only 512 MB. The Kindle is better if you want to purchase exclusively from Amazon, but the Nook is better if you are looking for a more universal experience. I have to recommend the Nook Tablet from my research and from everyone I talk to who has the Fire or Nook. I have placed a "Related Link" with more information from PC World.

yes there are some places on the internet that you can find the right format to download to your kindle like i had found some fan fict.of Harry Potter called jamespotter a.k.a. harry's son and the writer h had friend make kindle version so im sure that you can find it on internet somewhere! also it takes pdf's and each kindle has its own separate email address so u can allways email to your kindle if you need.

I would rather read a book however the kindle is a great tool when you don't want to carry around a bunch of books. I have a kindle and its very convenient especially when traveling and vacationing.

The battery may have overheated. If the bottom is hot, Thats usually the problem. Also if you left it on charge and didnt unplug it for a long time, it may have short circuted. If this occured, you need a new battery. If its overheated, leave it alone for awhile.

A standard Kindle has a very good refresh rate for an electronic reader, and will display books beautifully, but it can't show you video. You would have to get the upgraded Kindle Fire, which has more tablet like functionality. I am adding to this answer, I have a Kindle fire original and hdx and they both stream movies from Amazon Prime and Netflix and You Tube, there is no room or need to have the video in the Kindle memory when so many are available online as long as you have a WIFI connection avaiilable

it depends on how much damage there is because if it's a lot then you can't really if it goes into the hardware then its gonna b like a couple 100 bucks more because it is ill have to repair all of the inside of the kindle 2 but if there's just if it's just the screen is cracked then it's only not gonna be able to b very much.
