You Find A Ghosts Character Token, Then You Switch To Them, Like Any Other Character On Freeplay

There are a number of red items, some are solid red, some have red 'sparkles' around them. The red walls, candleabras and such are items you can affect, destroy or open with the Incendio spell you will learn in year 1.

You must be Hermione and Ron and use Ridiculus on the boggart. Harry is too scared as his boggart is a dementor (you learn expecto patronum later on). There is a black board near the back left corner of the room. I think after you finish smashing down that block of ice you go forward then left and cast reducto on that door and then you enter and kill that dementor and you will have the award.

Note: James Potter's token is there too.

The ghost only claps when you've finished the story events after Goblet of Fire. You don't have to do anything.
