How do you get past the Basilisk on LEGO Harry Potter Year 2 for DS?

Okay i had this problem but figured it out to defeat the Basilisk once you are halfway up the tower, keep hitting the basilisk's tail, and when you do, he disappears ito the hole. In that short amount of time, move up tho the next platform until u get 2 the top. You have to do it very quickly cuz he might follow you. When you are at the top, blast the block and you find Gryffindor's sword. Touch it(it's outlined in green) and it will stab the basilisk's head. Then it shows a cute Lego video of the rest of the story. Now this is the cheat for DS but i think it might still work hope i was any help :)

How do you defeat Draco Malfoy in a duel in the Lego Harry Potter DS game?

Firstly, you need to hit Malfoy a few times with Expelliarmus [just like Reducto - swipe the stylus towards your target].

Then he will hide behind a statue and send Crabbe and Goyle after you, hit them with the same spell until they leave.

Click the statue and levitate it away from Malfoy.

Malfoy now sends the statue into the air and after you. Watch the shadow on the floor and avoid getting squashed. When the statue comes down, hit it with Reducto. Continue to do that until the statue is defeated.

Now Malfoy comes after you. He sends a 'homing'spell to you, run behind Malfoy so the fire ball hits him instead. Do this until Malfoy stops.

Malfoy sends a heap of flying books at you. Defeat them by stunning them [making circles around yourself] then hit them with Reducto.

While doing this, be sure to hit Malfoy's statue a few times, so it crumbles.

Malfoy sends a snake at you. Click the snake and hiss into the microphone on the DS to defeat it

You must beat the game (beat all levels and found all crests, students in peril, and characters in the levels Excludes characters found in regular castle) go to Borgin and Burks in Knockturn alley and build the doorway. Go in and play the final level (btw this level is GREAT) and then you get Voldemort. How do you defeat the Weeping Willow in Lego Harry Potter?

How do you get a million studs on Lego Harry Potter?

you just unlock score X10, X2, X6, and score X8, and then it gives you score X3480 total, and then just get two 1,000s studs. This answer is actually incorrect - On the "Complete Saga" - Multipliers are LOCKED and cannot be used on the Bonus Levels.

Best advice is to do things in this order:

*Use the force on ANYTHING YOU CAN!

*SCOUT insode EVERY BUILDING

*Race ANY VEHCLES you can and some will allow you to collect a trail of Blue Studs

*Finally, DESTROY ANYTHING YOU CAN!

You MUST do the FORCE Section first or you can lose over 100,000 studs! I made this mistake!

NB: I have STILL NOT hit the magic Million but that's due to ignoring my own advice above!

you need to have an explosive character (bounty hunter)

How do you pass Lego Harry Potter whomping willow?

the whomping willow will hit the ground with its different branches, one of the branches your character can jump into (the same way you would hop onto a broom). once on the branch the tree will lift you up and you or someone you are playing with has to shoot one of the three branches sticking up with bulbs on the end (if you aim they get selected). once all three are shot the hole will open up underneath the tree and you can go to the shrieking shack

hope that helps
