What color is leopards whiskers?
A tabby cat is a cat with a distinctive coat that features stripes, dots, or swirling patterns.
The tabby pattern is a naturally occurring feature that may be the original coloration of the domestic cat's distant ancestors.
The "Tabby" term means dark markings (stripes, swirls, spots) on a paler background. The stripe colour is solid (goes right to the hair root), but the background colour is banded with colour on each individual hair.
Here are just some of the many colours:
The mackerel tabby pattern has vertical, gently curving stripes on the side of the body. The stripes are narrow, and may be continuous or broken into bars and spots on the flanks and stomach. Often, an 'M' shape appears on the forehead. Mackerels also feature a 'peppered' nose, where black spots appear along the pink tip of the nose. Mackerels are also called 'fishbone tabbies'. Mackerel is the most common tabby pattern.
Classic (or 'blotched') tabbies have a similar 'M' pattern on the head, but the body markings are different, having a whirled and swirled pattern with wider stripes that make what are referred to as "butterfly" patterns on their shoulders, and usually a bullseye or oyster pattern on the flank. The legs and tail are more heavily barred and the pattern is variable with respect to the width of the bands.
The Ticked tabby pattern produces hairs with distinct bands of color on them, breaking up the tabby patterning into an salt-and-pepper appearance. Residual ghost striping or "barring" can often be seen on the lower legs, face and belly and sometimes at the tail tip.

Do leopards have a good sense of smell?
Snow leopards have all the same senses as humans, which are sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste. As for their eyesight, it is their primary sense, and although they have poor color vision, leopards and all other cats have excellent night vision compared to most animals (including humans). Cats' hearing is also far more powerful than human hearing, as is their sense of smell (but some animals, such as dogs and bears, have a far better sense of smell than cats do). The only thing exceptional about cats' sense of touch are their amazingly sensitive whiskers. I don't know anything about a cat's sense of taste.

Pumas were severly persecuted in the 1800's in the east, and the Florida race is the only eastern puma to completely escape extinction.
The Florida panther is a subspecies of the mountain lion, also called puma and cougar. Hunting devastated the eastern populations, til only a handful were left in the swamps of Florida. Inbreeding was becoming a problem, and, with only thirty pumas left in Florida, a decision was made to bring in eight female Texas cougars, another puma subspecies very close genetically to the Florida race. The program worked, and the inbreeding has been stopped, for the most part, and now 80 pumas roam there.

There is no species of cat in the world known as a "black panther". The only known big cat species to sometimes have black offspring are leopards and jaguars. Jaguars are native to Central & South America, and a small area in the Southwestern US. They have started making a comeback there, and are being studied, and are Federally Protected, and considered endangered. No black Jaguars have been seen on any of the camera traps set in the SW US that are used to monitor the jaguars there.
Among the jaguar subspecies, black specimens are rare outside of the Amazon River basin. However they can be 20% of the population in the Amazonian rainforest.
In leopards, black specimens can found anywhere, but they are rare in Africa, more common in the Indian subcontinent, nearly half the population on Maylasia.
