You are thinking of ambergris. It is not legal to trade in ambergris in the US. It was used as a fixative in many perfumes. It starts out as a greyish material that smells of marine faeces, but sweetens when it dries to resemble the odor of alcohol. It is not harvested directly from whales so whales do not have to die in order for it to be collected and used. It is still legal in France and Switzerland. So it is possible that depending on the origin of the lipstick, it may contain ambergris, or as you colorfully call it, whale puke. But I think that it is used most often in high-end fragrances rather than in other kinds of cosmetics.

There are many great alternatives to using water to remove greasy food stains. The best way to get out a stain is to combine hydrogen peroxide and a tiny dot of hand soap right on top of the stain. Rub it in and allow it to air dry.

In the very old days when there was still an American whaling trade, the most popular whale to kill was the sperm whale. Today, they don't make lipstick from spermaceti for three reasons--you can't get it anymore, if you could there would be international outrage directed against your company for using it, and jojoba oil happens to have the same chemical composition as spermaceti and is safer to gather as well.

A great brand of lipstick is Rimell London. It is drugstore so it is super easy to find, and is priced well for the quality. It has great coverage and have a whole range of colours.

any brand name like revlon or maybelline is the best (and cheapest) bet. make sure you buy it from target or a department store because dollar stores sell knock offs lots of times which can contain lead.

I believe that girls wear lipgloss because it sends subconcious signals that they are wet 'down there' because of the sheen to the lipgloss, as well as the colour change of the lips. This is very subconcious though and not many people realise WHY they wear lipgloss/stick.

I met a woman a few years ago who'd worked for Neutrogena for almost 30 years and she confirmed that yes, LipLife was discontinued many years ago.

Try the Revlon Matte line. The texture is very similar to the LipLife and it lasts well on the lips without turning color.

I don't remember if the blue tone B was the red or not, but the Revlon Matte shade called Really Red is the best substitute I've found for the LipLife Red I adored. (And I have tried MANY!!)

Grease stains and lip stick stains resist water, so the first step is to rub them with detergent and wash them in hot water. The grease stain should be gone, but the lipstick stain might still be discolored. Pretreat this stain like you would for a dye stain and send it through the washer again.
