A man went to a preacher's home to ride a lizard. The man saw the lizard he was to ride and after not seeing the preacher, decided to mount anyway. He then said, "Giddy-up." The lizard did not move. Just then the preacher heard him and came out. The preacher said, "In order to make the lizard go, you must say the name of Jesus. In order to make it stop, you must say the name of God." And so the man said the name Jesus and the lizard began to trot like a horse. The man then noticed the louder and faster he said Jesus, the faster and harder the lizard ran. He was so distracted by the fun that he was having that he did not notice the cliff ahead. When he did finally noticed, he yelled "Whoa! Stop! Whoa!" but the lizard kept going. Finally, he remembered. "GOOOOODDDDD!" The lizard stopped less than an inch from the edge of the cliff. He wiped his brow. "Jesus Christ!"

lizards hibernate usually hibernate from the mid of fall and all through winter. dont be scared if your lizard wont eat it is very common. i have an uromastyx and she does the same thing . lizards get really slugish during hibernation. u will usualy see them wake up more in the spring and be through happy and awake selfs.

Actually, I was just looking around to see how many babies Alligator lizards usually have and I ran across this page. I have several Alligator lizards and one of them has just given birth to 3 LIVE lizards... so far. They came out 1 at a time, each in their own little slimy sack and after a few minutes wiggled their way out and are now running around the cage. So... not all lizards lay eggs, contrary to popular belief. These lizards are native to western Wa, I don't know about any of the other breeds of Aligator lizards from other areas.
