Why is the Louisiana Super dome famous?

The somewhat hyperbolic name was used to set off the stadium from other covered stadiums such as the Astrodome. It was also designed for professional football in the early years of the Super Bowl championship game, which it has hosted more times than any other location.

Beginning in 2011, the branding of the dome was as the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, which has caused some confusion since Atlanta's new stadium was named the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2015.

  • old buildings and heritage
  • celebration

  • hot whether
  • music (jazz and more)

i just left New Orleans and was very sad to leave, if you are deciding whether to go there i definitely recommend it, if you have connections there even better but either way New Orleans is the best place I've ever been in my life. the shopping is great the food is amazing the nature only about a 45 minute drive away is spectacular.

if you are going there i suggest some things you should do are:
  • eat loads of food (po-boys and gumbo)
  • do the night life and listen to some great music
  • shopping on magazine street and the french quarter
  • drive out to Avery island (it is the place where they make Tabasco sauce and you can goo in the factory but also there are amazing gardens you can drive and walk through and see lots of alligator's)
  • if you want a place to stay i can suggest you rent the house on the corner of Dauphine st and st Ferdinand st (if you go on the website of carries cool properties you will find it)
  • if you have someone who can show you around then get them to show you around the disaster areas from hurricane Catrina. (its mainly in the lower 9th ward)
oh by the way go in winter and not in the hurricane season.

hope you go.

How much would a brake tag ticket would be in Louisiana?

The cost of renewing an actual brake tag in Louisiana, at least in Jefferson parish, is $7.50 if done on time. A late renewal will cost you an extra $4.

I was caught not too long ago with driving without a brake tag by the state police. (I had recently gotten my windshield glass changed and was told that all I would need to carry in the car was the receipt for my new windshield purchase and the receipt from the brake tag station showing that I had purchased a brake tag previously for my car that was still up-to-date... Absolutely Wrong!). Once I could go down to the courthouse to see about the cost of the ticket, I was blown away when I was told that this traffic violation would cost me $157. Once again my ticket was for driving with no brake tag, so a ticket for driving with an expired brake tag may not cost you the same amount. End the end this is a task not worth putting off till tomorrow if it needs to be now.

What is the very southernmost part of Louisiana?

Venice, or Orchard (part of Venice) by road. The southernmost inhabitated part of LA is Port Eads, or South Pass, only reachable by boat or helicopter. The marina was destroyed in Katrina, but the lighthouse is still there, albeit leaning to one side. $12 was just secured from the Feds to rebuild it, though. So it will be back. The old Harbor Master, Jeffery Scarabin, and one other person, attempted to ride out Katrina there, and were never heard from again. There's Pilottown, which used to be call La Balize, also only accessable by boat or helicopter. The buildings there temporarily house ship pilots, but very few people, less than 20, are there today. It used to be a few miles downriver, but was destroyed in the 19th century. There are also a few small rigs and platforms for pilots, weather stations, and oil drilling along the mouth of the Mississippi.
