How many kids did Lucille ball have with Desi Arnaz?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz' three children were named Madeline Jane Dee (deceased), Lucie Arnaz (live) and Desi Arnaz Jr. (live).

==================================================

Historically, entertainers from any part of the world serve a business purpose - that is; to entertain. Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz were wonderful entertainers.

They were first however normal human beings entitled to make all the choices affecting their personal lives and subsequently the lives of their children. The case that they had a first born (Madeline Jane) that they paid Ruth Smith to care for and subsequently adopt has been proven. While Ruth Smith raised Madeline separately, Lucille Ball was involved in all decisions related to the child's upbringing and while Madeline was raised separately from Lucie and Desi Jr., she was physically living close by.

Madeline Jane's birth certificates (plural as there were three) and life's documentation has been examined by and subjected to inordinate scrutiny by credible, legal authorities that have no personal interest in the case whatsoever.

All biological DNA tests support that the couple's first biological child (Madeline Jane) subsequently had a daughter of her own. Lucille Ball herself was called when Madeline went into labor and Lucille Ball herself named her granddaughter Cassandria Lucianna.

The public has to respect that the mere fact that an individual chooses the entertainment profession as a career, the choice in of itself does not give the public the right to get personally involved in the entertainer's personal life. It is far worse that fans question and or object to personal decisions entertainers made decades ago.

Whether in the case of a regular family or in a high-profile one, it is not unusual that a family member takes umbrage that additional family members are legally identified. We choose not to identify children by name out of respect for their privacy. This incident has been proven to the satisfaction of all legal authorities. Anyone wishing to address the matter further should contact SyndicatedNews.NET directly where they will be directed to our legal representatives whom are well versed in the matter.

A fan watching a television show and becoming familiar with and liking a television character, does not mean that the fan somehow inherits rights to the history of or the artist's personal life or information. Many "I love Lucy" fans are unbelievably resistant to and upset that Lucille Ball made decisions for her private life that she did not share with her audience. Entertainers are under no obligation to consult the public when making their personal decisions. Consider also, how ridiculous it is that so called "Lucy historians" are upset about private and personal decisions Lucille Ball made 50 or 60 years ago.

Merely watching a television show and enjoying it does not entitle a fan to embrace the television character (in this case, a manufactured character) and feel that he or she "knows" the artist. Audience members did not know Lucille Ball or Desi Arnaz.

Lucille Ball's understanding and knowledge of audiences, comic timing and performance cues was never learned to that degree by any other performer (not even in present day entertainment).

Lucille Ball was the consummate performer. However, being a loyal fan does not entitle members of the public whom enjoy Lucille Ball's tv episodes to refer to themselves as experts or historians as is often the case.

The only true historians in the Lucille Ball - Desi Arnaz case are the actual family members and their attorneys.

This case, like many others should serve to remind the public that "liking" a tv show does not imply any connection between members of the viewing audience and the artist or their descendants.

A Globe article was published on January 9, 2014 wherein a "source" is quoted on the topic of the daughter Lucille Ball had raised by Ruth Smith. The article does not allege anything. It states quite clearly and emphatically that Lucille Ball had three children.

Did Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz have grandchildren?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Lucille and Desi had two three children together: Their first child was Madeline Linda Arnaz (who was adopted by Ruth Green Smith whom changed the child's name hence the child had 3 birth certificates), Lucie Desiree Arnaz and Desi Arnez Jr. (born Desiderio Alberto Arnaz IV) were their 2nd and 3rd children.

The studio was not going to allow Lucille Ball to try to manage an infant and a brand new show. Lucille opted to adopt the child out and made a paid agreement with the adoptive mother to keep the child a minimum of 50 miles from Hollywood at all times.

That first child, subsequently had a child of her own (Cassandria Lucianna Arnaz) whom remembers swimming in her grandfather's pool (that was shaped like a guitar). She also remembers a brash red headed woman that would often pick her up from ballet to take her to lunch.

Cassandria Lucianna Arnaz, is now the V.P. of Marketing and New Media Specialist for SyndicatedNews.NET. She has three children and her name can be found in the listing of the members of that website under her own name.

Lucie Arnaz, the second daughter has been married twice but only the second marriage produced children. She and her husband Laurence Luckinbill have had three children together: Simon, Joseph, and Katharine. Luckinbill also had two kids prior to marrying Lucie, but they would not count as grandchildren to Lucille and Desi since Lucie never adopted them.

Desi Jr. has been linked to Victoria Principal, Patty Duke, and Liza Minneli. Patti Duke gave birth to a son named Sean Astin and though many assumed that it was Desi's, a blood test revealed that he was not the father. He then married and divorced the actress named Linda Purl. In 1987, he married Amy Bargiel, and adopted her daughter Haley. This would make Haley an adopted grandchild of Lucille and Desi.

Years later, Desi Jr. was obligated to take a paternity test because social services had invested in the maintenance of Julia his biological daughter during the years that he did not acknowledge her. Once the testing was established and the involved familial and legal parties were satisfied, Julia reports that her life remained the same as before her father recognized her.

The County where social services funds had been withdrawn by Julia's mother had to be refunded by Desi Jr. Julia had thought she and her father would solve their differences but it wasn't to be. She continues working as a waitress, the same as before her father admitted to paternity and only because it was court ordered as in all cases where county funds have been used to raise a child whose absent parent is not identified.

Attorney Blaine T. Bettinger is the main speaker for this SyndicatedNews.NET episode which explains the procedure Carlson used to certify her lineage. The show was a medical and legal panel discussion not an open free-for-all.

Dr. Bettinger is both a lawyer and a doctor qualified to speak on the matter of DNA. Prior to joining Bond, Schoeneck & King law firm, Dr. Bettinger obtained his PhD in genetics and he is the author of The Genetic Genealogist.

While the broadcast by Dr. Bettinger (the DNA specialist and attorney delivering a comprehensive medical and legal DNA explanation) was being aired, a self appointed blogger called the show identifying him or herself as an "I LOVE LUCY Historian".

SyndicatedNews.NET had already identified the blogger to the pertinent familial and legal parties and while agreeing to being aware of said person, they also stated that he or she has never been authorized to identify him or herself as the family historian.

Did lucille ball own a home on bird key in Sarasota Florida?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

No...she never even ;ooled. The house was at 232 Sea Gull Lane and was built in 1969-70 by a local sec builder who lived there a short time. In 1971 it was sold to a well known family who renovated the almost new home (repainted the house white rather than keep the original lime green). The family liived there until 2007 when iit was sold to a sec builder who demolished the home and built two homes that do not have near the elegance of the original home/

My family, nameless for privacy, bought the home in 1971---Lucille Ball never even looked at purchasing the property though an employee of hers did look just once. My famly renovated the practically new home built by local Sarasota develeoper Harry Mathley. It was known as one of the most elegant homes in Sarasota. What was most fun was when celeb seekers came to the door and my grnadmother said, "Oh, le tme go find my red wig." Then we'd call the police to be sure the celeb proupies left the property. When the home was sold, the newhomes built on the property were bult for notorety and not elegance--something that will always upset us.

One thing, we do not have aerial photosof the home---if any exist, please post here.

What was Lucy's mom's first name on the you love Lucy show?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I honestly doubt her name was ever stated, though I'm open! She was always Mrs. McGillicuddy, including in a letter to Lucy! I would think her first name would be stated in either the Ricardos' marriage certificate, or in Lucy's birth certificate, but I can't find any evidence. Did you know Mrs. Trumbell's first name was Matilda?

WHAT impact did I Love Lucy show have on American society?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Lucy set the tone for a perfect, loving, and healthy relationship in a marriage. American society looked up to Lucy and Ricky for happiness and shaped the way families acted and treated each other. I Love Lucy was a hilarious show with a great message to it. Families would sit down together and watch every episode every day it came on and became a very important part of society. The show also shaped what was accepted as normal in society like the way they dress, speak, act, and treat each other. The show portrayed women as maybe foolish and dumb-blondeish on a minor level but also incredibly clever and fun. The show had a big part in conformity in the 50's. (What was accepted and how everyone acted alike to be "normal")
