Can you still use nail polish that has separated showing the oils on the top and color on the bottom Thanks?

Yes,shake it ,really good and I mean really good,a little elbow grease and wrist action will save that bottle of polish.

Yes, if the polish is too old it will be "stringy" when you try to spread it (different than thick, which will improve with polish thinner), if it does not spread evenly, clumps or stringy, it may be too far gone to use. Old polish (and cheap crummy polish) will not dry well either.

Better to mix it evenly, not shake hard.... shaking it hard just mixes air into it. Save your wrist.... the little bearings in most bottles will help mix it. Polish is thick, a rapid shake does nothing that medium and even won't do. You are not trying to get a froth, just mix it.

Does clear nail polish have an expiration date my mom had this nali polish called Magic Formula Nail and Cuticle Treatment for more than 10 years just wondering?

Yes, it's two years after the bottle was opened. You can try this stuff; if you put it on and it's real thick and hard to brush out, throw it away because it's no good anymore. (They sell nail polish thinner, but once nail polish starts to get thick, it's toast.)

How do you do a perfect french manicure?

Well, I do my own French manicure to save money. So what you'll need is:

-White Nail Polish

-Clear Coat Nail Polish

- Tape

Start off with a piece of tape, wrap the tape about...2 1/2 quarters of your nail.

It's kind of like stenciling. So, paint the part of your nail which is not covered with the tape. Keep the tape there for a while. After about 2 minutes carefully take the tape off, and Voila! Vous avez un parfait manucure francais! (You have a perfect french manicure!)

Do this very carefully or else your nails will be ruined very easily!

I hope this this helped! Good Luck!
